Almost an excellent nights footie.

In Europe: Albania trip still alive, which would be an absolute riot; Israel still alive, which has the makings of a great one (and Basle thugs avoided); Celtic drop, so Malmo knobheads avoided and cheap trek up North on; Vienna drop (Ukraine pain in the *** avoided) and Monaco. For the groups and beyond it couldn't of been better. (Bar Valencia in place of Monaco.).

Then we go pull Carlisle at home. BOO! Get's us through like but completely uninspiring.

*Edit* Awww crud. Basle out on away goals. Still not played in Israel and the Swiss hooli's be twice as bad being as they're hosting the final. ******.

Haha what have you got against Malmo? :o

Second pretty darn good night of European footie in a row. (From a personal POV.).

CSKA through. (Pain in the *** Moscow and you need to get the visa in person now from either London or Edinburgh to make it worse.). Astana through. Much rather Cyprus than the logistical nightmare of Kazakhstan. Nice City in Bruge to make up for Utd going through. And Partizan slightly better than the visa and **** of a place to get to that is Belarus. Could of done with Lazio not dropping but can't pull them anyway.

I'll put the pots up after tomorrow nights games in readiness for Friday's draw.

And Everton currently in extra time at Barnsley the League Cup. (3-3.).

*Edit* Brugge in our pot as of now.

Are you a travel agent by any chance? ;)

Lol. You wouldn't believe the advance planning that goes into this **** with alternative/ cheaper routes etc. to be ready for the draw. Really miss Parry no longer at the club for things like this. An advance nod on dates used to be brilliant for getting the jump on booking things.

According to "Sky sources" Liverpool are in discussions with Fenerbache over a season-long loan deal for Markovic.

Ok, now Belenenses have held out for the draw to go through, the pots for tomorrow's Europa League draw are:

Teams in red I DEFO don't want. Teams in green I'm 'Meh' on. Teams in black 'Yes please!'

Really struggling not to get some superb trips here which all make the Europa a **** of a lot more fun as a fan than the Champions League. As much as that competition being where Liverpool Football Club belongs.

Dream draw:

Pot 1: Bilbao. (Best trip in Europe bar none!).
Pot 2: Bordeaux/ Augsburg/ Prague. (Split here. Bordeaux on the wine would be boss. Augsburg and either Munich or Stuttgart would rock. And Prague is Prague.).
Pot 3: FK Skenderbeu. (Albania would be a hilarious riot.).

Roll on tomorrow lunchtime. One of my favourite days of the calendar.

It's like Christmas time ..... for adults! :). :).

See I'm different to you in that aspect - I want the easiest draw possible and couldn't care who we draw as long as it's not the fabled 'group of death'

It wont be this window, but rumours Liverpool have been watching Hakan Calhanoglu of Bayer Leverkusen. (Scouts present at the Lazio game)

It's yet another attacking midfielder, but I do have a soft spot for the lad.. Good player and could be a fantastic one

Naturally. And I appreciate that fully and would be the same if I didn't travel. But I do, and NOTTIN' beats going away in Europe. This must sound so ridiculous to any 'normal' person not into following a sports team even more than the money shelled out to do it; but the football's often secondary to the social aspect. That's the real aspect of travelling in Europe. Going away to some far flung land for a few days (another benefit of the Europa, Thursday games. Chance to travel out on the day most places, and come back Saturday being as we won't play until Sunday. Days holiday saved) with your mates for great company, great food, great wine ha ha and the cultural experience of maybe somewhere you'd never, ever get to. (ACHING for that Albanian team lol.). The planning and the journey's you sometimes have to make. (Being escorted into Vladikavkaz by two Russian MIGS either side of the same plane the team and press was on, the only one chartered, with the Chechnyan (Sp?) war that close you could see the missiles flying through the air or going to Betis up the main ring road in heavy rush hour traffic on a horse and cart we waylaid down to time and too many bevies are two of my favourite mode of travel stories.). To then run into people you know who've done the same thousands of miles from home. The stories that come out are memories you just can't buy. I could happily jib domestic games so long as I got my European fix.

4 European Cup finals, a UEFA Cuo final and 2 Super Cups from my first in Rome in '84. Memory's, good and bad, only Utd fans the PL era come even close to matching. I've a **** of a lot to thank this football club for.

I'll quit before I ramble on all page, but in not so many words I was trying to say I fully get you and appreciate that. But for me, it's 'where's a boss place to go that's not gonna' be a nightmare expense/ travelling wise and I'm not gonna' be watching my back from **** heads' is the key to who I want ha ha.

Haha, I fully appreciate that... No doubt for those who a love an away day certain places/teams will be naturally better

here's hoping for a good draw in both aspects!

I'd love to see him at Liverpool, sensational talent, but can't see it happening without someone else being sacrificed, as you say we have almost too many attacking midfield options

Definitely found a keeper here!

Haven't been to see Liverpool in a while, tickets are pretty hard to get unless you know people who can't go, and after wasting my money on the membership for 5 years to never get anywhere with tickets I cancelled for this season, so this season didn't reallt think I'd be going to a game unless one of the family came back to say they couldn't (they never miss a game though)

Come home last night to the missus saying she'd got us tickets for the West Ham game tomorrow, the Villa game next month and then the Everton game too. Which would be in the Everton stands but aint a problem is it?

Turns out she has them annoying fans in her family who have season tickets but never go anyway,

Good news for me though!

Narrow 4-2-3-1 FM style ;)...

Coutinho - Hakan - Firmino. Forgetting everything else, that would be something special

That would be pretty sick, not going to lie. Milner and Hendo would be forced to sit deeper to compensate though, which restricts them both I think. Man City always end up setting up like that in FM

On that note actually, I seriously hope Rodgers doesn't try to turn Henderson into a holding midfielder - that's just a criminal waste of his talents
