Apart from the exception that was 13/14, Spurs have been outfinishing you, and outperformed you when in Europe for the last several years. So hes actually right in that regard. On a longer term scale you're effectively Ac Milan.

Thanks mate.

I really wish that markovic was still at the club. I can see him shine with the way klopp is playing.

Edit I wonder if there is a call back option.

Speaking hypothetically (as Klopp is basically confirmed), I'd say Emery and Simeone. Don't think that would happen though, at this time.

Emery would be feasible for you guys. Simeone though? No chance.

Even if there is, we'd still have to wait until January.

**** Markovic, imagine if Suarez was still here

We should be bringing a few back if there is who are out on pointless loans.

Markovic is learning absolutely nottin' about the English game out in Turkey. Wisdom's another that springs to mind. All he's done is given Norwich depth to ride their bench. Completely non-sensical loans that want terminating if at all possible.

During his time in Bundesliga, Klopp was shown to the stands on 8 occasions, last time in March 2014 for being too outspoken towards the ref. He's also been handed fines for a total of €58.000! On one occasion he shoved the brim of his cap in a ref's face, while yelling "YOU IDIOT!" on another. Despite all this, he's actually never been suspended by the German FA. I really do wonder how the English FA will respond to his antics... Maybe Mourinho won't be able to use his paranoia card again.

He did get suspended for two matches in the Champions League though, apparently for verbally assaulting a fourth official. I'm not sure so don't take my word for it; but I have a feeling it might be connected to this:

Smiles. BIG.

We've gone from the absolute depths this time last week with most everyone dreading playing that European 'Giant' FC Sion under the Irish divvy, with an atmosphere as bad as it's ever been; to now, a week on, everyone in a state of unadulterated ecstasy in a place of utopia I've not felt since the early hours of May 26, 2005 in that far-flung place by the banks of the Bosphorus.

If they didn't believe us then our time was coming again, they're about to believe us now 'r Jurgies here!

Jurgen frigging Klopp a Red!Marriage made in Heaven. Danke Boston. DANKE!

Tomorrow it is then!

I am genuinely looking forward to seeing what he does with this team, especially Roberto Firmino, who he had an interest in whilst at Dortmund.

There is no doubt improvement is needed but there is a good young core here already. Sakho, Moreno, Can, Coutinho, Firmino, Benteke, Sturridge etc.

Couldn't agree more. It's actually Kloppening! For the first time since 13/14 I feel truly optimistic, I've even been reading how people are dreading us landing Klopp on the Norwegian Man United forum. That just makes it all the more sweeter, knowing that your arch rivals would have loved to have him themselves.

And I gotta hand it to FSG on this occasion, they realized their decision to stick with Rodgers in the summer was a mistake, and dealt with it accordingly - and secured us the guy I've been wanting to take over the club for more than a year. Seeing it confirmed tomorrow will lift a huge weight off everyones shoulders.

I won't even care if we do **** the first couple of months, as I know what he's capable of once he gets the squad set. But of course I'm hoping for an instant effect, who doesn't.

It's almost as if I don't want to play with Liverpool in FM 16, just to see what happens under Klopp. Almost.

Well if it helps, I put him on FM15 with Marshalls update and he got us 4th spot on the last day and then the next season beat Real Madrid in the Champions League Final.

Here's hoping FM can actually tell the future! Although he did then leave to go to Arsenal...

Wonder which senior players will be culled when he arrives. My bets on Mignolet, Klopp will watch him in one training session attempting to take a goal kick and will turn to his assistant and go "who signed this ******".

Hopefully Mignolet, yes. He just doesn't cut it, and never has at this level. There are a lot of good promising German keepers out there, maybe he'll go for something like that? Bernd Leno..?

yep there are soooo many top goalkeepers in germany any one of them would take hart's place in the NT (If they were english). I would take Zieler personally.

I'm still dreaming that ter Stegen gets ****** off at Barca and puts in a transfer request so he can move to us.

Thats a wish... but I'll just accept us getting Klopp in I guess

Ter Stegen's obviously good, but I don't think he's too much better than a lot of the other German keepers, just that he's at Barca

But we do need, and will get a keeper. Can imagine in January we'll get two new players, centre back and goalie. Other than that, I think we'll keep the squad until the end of year
