Ter Stegen rumours of 20mil as well going around. I called it a few pages back. (H)

If the reports are true that the prices are 20mil for Ter Stegen and 25mil for Gundogan, I'm not sure what we're waiting for.

I know it isn't football manager but considering what we have paid in the past those are two players who are very likely to improve us massively

'If.' Gonna' be linked to every player under the sun this window as always so not pinning my hopes on anything until it's official.

What will be will be.

I know this deep down. We can dream :(

Be interesting to see just who does arrive this month and who leaves. (Enrique surely? Hopefully Allen if we strengthen.).

The Barca 'keeper would be brilliant. As Gundogan would be a massive improvement over Lucas. But we'll see.

More concerned with coming back from Stoke not having a lead to chase. Imperative we don't get beat given we can't score for ****.

Lowest ever total league goals through 20 games in our entire history. 124 years. That's some **** right there aint' it?

I'm yet to see a credible source on the Ter Stegen link. We've also apparently only got £20 mil to spend this window so it's pretty obvious why they would be reluctant to spend it all on Ter Stegen. Grujic also cost £5mil so if the £20mil budget is to be believed then we only have £15mil left.

Neither are happening, the first for obvious reasons. Lots of lazy speculation going on for our clubs atm.

Ter Stegen isn't happening, it's not even smoke and mirrors from Klopp either. No interest in a new keeper.

Give it until the summer an I'm fairly confident that will change.

I think there is no interest now simply because the options we may want are not available

It is? Really? Because to me it's a no brainer to blow up 20 mil and secure your weakest position for the next decade.

Yup. Reports here are that he was scouted by both Manchester clubs, but prefers Liverpool because of Klopp (some backchannel communication with one of former Polish Dortmund players I'd imagine).

Tall for his age, good shot stopping, not afraid to come off his line. Still U-17 player so I don't know anything else.

Have you heard anything about Dragowski? Saw him linked with Arsenal sometime ago,

Massive talent, that. Debuted in top flight at 16 and didn't leave starting spot since. Brave, confident, big mouth, your typical polish goalkeeper basically. If he works hard he's going places.

Rightly so spook. 'Bad' Klopp (pun intended) is needed.

Unfortunately, down to the injuries, we have no option to change it. Maybe Milners back tonight. (Not the he offers much attack wise but his work ethic has been sorely missed.). That aside, there's only Lallana or young Smith for his crossing you could bring in. The 12/ 13 that have stated the last month is basically all we've had. The two Brazilians are so out of form it's not even funny. Firmino is just so low on confidence and Phil is, of late, a complete one trick pony. So easy to defend when you know he's going onto his right to try the Hollywood 25/30 yarder most every freaking time he has the ball. He needs someone to grab him and say 'you waste possession like that again, I'm gonna' **** yer!' We know he's got the ability to go at players and pick out the pass. DO THAT! But then Benteke needs to move his lazy *** to give him an option to pass to. And why is nobody no longer supporting Benteke and getting past him the box? It's not by design as Klopps still screaming and motioning them to do that. You could go on but we can't change anything right now down to having no options outside of the players attitude.

And if they don't have 100% commitment tonight we're looking at chasing the game the second leg. The only positive is this is Hughes Stoke who play football and not that **** Pulis' who didn't. So that should work in our favour but I'm not going down there with much confidence at all given we can't score for ****.

I'll take a draw or a 1 goal defeat at worst. At least at that, with a rocking Anfield (you'd hope) second leg it's a game.

Anything worse and we'd be out.

Ahhh, the second treble winning season 2000/01. Great night. Great season. So many great memories late on in particular. Gary Mac. Oh for a player of his quality in midfield right now.

Never actually seen us lose at Stoke the cup so there is that. 2 wins the Britania. A win and a draw the Victoria. The first of which, third round FA Cup with Kenny's great '88 side, is one of my best 'getting into a ground for free' games. 4 of us. 2 unemployed. Myself still in upper school. No ticket between us. And barely enough to get a cup of tea never mind anything else. Bunked the train down. Telly page of the Mirror listed Tony Gubba doing the Match of the Day highlights. This is late morning and an idea forms .... One old fella' the main entrance. So 4 scruffy scals walk up and say 'Alright mate. BBC. Tony Gubba's crew' ..... And he checks his list, looks at us, then unbelievably straight ushers us through. Straight down the tunnel, round the pitch, over the fence into our end. Ding dang do.

Bold faced Scouse nerve at its finest. You could pull **** like that back then.

Happy days.

Rumours Balotelli wants to cut his loan short and return to Liverpool.

Good one Mario!
