*Profanity Warning in Advance.*

Well that was fun.

Positives: The defence looked sound. Lovren and Caulker looked a good partnership. Brad Smith shone again and bottled up Payet. He's fast manoeuvring himself to overtake Moreno next year at this rate. Stewart and Brannigan did well again. Taixera at least tried.

We're still in the hat.

Negatives: A ******* replay! At that shitihole in East London on a ******* Tuesday night!

Benteke. I don't even know what he is anymore.

A MF replay on a Tuesday night down there!

Ibe. You're a ******* winger lad. So get out the ******* wing and take someone on. This bollocks inside which results in either a soft ***** shot or a ***** pass has gone on long enough this season. Yers played nearly 50 games the last two years. You were 'spossed to be the experienced one along with Benteke there but you looked absolutely ******* clueless and caused Teixera to be nervy. Ojo should of been on half time.

I thought I was done with that shithole in East London. But oh no, a God **** MF replay!

We can't score for **** 9 times out of 10. Which is beyond a joke now.

******* Upton Park! On a Tuesday night! With that **** Gold doubtless asking another £60.

Tonights ref. Just WTF do you have to do to get a free kick? Lads getting kicked to ***** and he's waving play on. *******.

Freezing cold night to be watching *****.

Jose Enrique. Just ..... Why? Why are you even a footballer? Let alone still at my ******* club!

Oh yeah, did I mention my night may of been ruined by a ******* MF REPLAY at a ground I absolutely detest on a Tuesday ******* night!?

That's some ******* RAWK-ish **** there.

I think I know why Allen has been in good form recently. He has had teeth implants in the back of his head, according to BBC anyway

"Ouch. Joe Allen and James Tomkins climb for the same ball, resulting in a good old clash of skulls. I think there's some teeth involved, because there's claret coming from the forehead of Tomkins..."

Must be because he's the Welsh Suarez too

If anything, the ones acting like mobsters are Liverpool. Declaring interest and making a lowball bid in order to get the player come out and say he wants to leave, forcing the selling club into a ****** position. That's why I commented on Sterling, because you guys had a fit the second he got his head turned by City, yet you do exactly the same thing to everyone else. You even did it to Lacazette in the summer iirc. Which is how it goes really, that's the game and everyone else does it. The hypocrisy is the funny part.

(for the record, the cases are obviously not the same as Sterling really pushed his through but the overwhelming principle is the same)

That was not so Subtle :P

Agreed with your points man and they are spot on.

Did you ever hear such Bullshit?
The guy can't sneeze without breaking 5 ribs.

Daniel Sturridge hung out to dry by Jurgen Klopp

Happily take Blackburn. That'll probably be the Sunday, day after we're back from Germany so a short trip will do nice.

Blue ***** got a horrendous trek.

Eh, that doesn't really mean anything. Brazilian players have a long known habit of over-hyping and promoting their own. Pele used to do it all the time.

I was just posting what he said...

I don't agree with it because obviously he isn't up there with the likes of Ozil lol.

I do think there is a lot more to come from him though!

Epic Terrorist hit the nail on the head with his post just after my original one.

Quicky on Souness. 1984 European Cup semi against Bucharest. Big Romanian gronk rakes his studs down the back of Kenny's hammy forcing him off first half. Graeme didn't forget, Second half, got himself between said gronk and the lino Kemmy side, and bang, the Romanians down in a heap with a broken jaw in two places. Taking care of your own. Then the return over there, they're all baying for his blood. Seat cushions and all sorts being thrown the pitch at him as we come out. And he's stood there webbing them back the crowd with Paisley going nuts lol.

He was basically the footballing equivalent of an Ice hockey enforcer haha

They haven't though. They clearly told people that he was going to be available in the summer, this was the price (38m), that's how it was. From what I understand, this is why we didn't lodge an official bid. You however, went in there and poked the sleeping lion by offering 38m now. Then he came out with that utterly stupid interview and the combination of the two, despite Akhmetov telling you not this window, has caused them to become pretty ****** off. Fair bit of blame for the club and the player really.

Subtle has this bang on. Clubs and players should never try and put Shakthar in corner. They will always come out on top. They sell when they want, for the price they want

Of course it would, because he was never available for 38m this window, that was the price they quoted for the summer and the club made it very clear that if he wanted to leave in this window the release clause would need to be met because they would not willingly give him up. They were two separate possibilities, you tried to combine the best elements of both into one deal and they justifiably told you to sod off.

They already basically said they will sell in the summer but they need him to finish the campaign. They have been saying that ever since we were linked to him in November.

It's nothing to do with being mobsters, they were very clear about what they would accept and when, and you guys basically ignored it and tried to force the transfer under your terms, as did the player himself with that stupid interview. You might get away trying to bully a club like Southampton with that sort of thing, but here you're dealing with someone that is more than willing to tell you where to stick your offer. Shakhtar have a history of refusing to bow to player pressure and of not being intimidated by pretty much anyone. You only need to look at the Fernandinho deal. They bent City over for every penny they wanted there, refused to compromise and even made the player himself effectively pay £4m to be transferred.

If anything, the ones acting like mobsters are Liverpool. Liverpool clearly didn't learn from the last time they tried to business with them.

God. Another 11 hours or so of Teixera speculation as desperate sites look for added clicks and even more desperate fools on Sky try fill dead air time by making excitement out of none story's.

**** Transfer Windows. Used to be a lot better before them IMHO.

The last day of a window is the worst day of the year

What makes me laugh is how Sky Sports News even act like this deal could even get done today.

Huge transfer news for us:

Sturridge has made a loan move from the physio room to the training ground on a 2 week deal before returning
