I do not think the quote going on the wall was ever meant to pat tribute to Cruyff. It was always a testamenet to LFC fan base by showing what legends of the game once said

I wasn't talking about some random guy saying quote will go on the wall. Its about the club and how they turn everything into about themselves. It was posted by the club on the eve of great man's death.

I can go and cite many examples but then i might end up getting banned.

Re obsession lol. Says the guy who always cry about every united news. Again i can cite many examples about obsession, again thats a banned Topic here.

I saw that as well, and as much as I love Sturridge, you can't turn down that sort of fee from a foreign club given his injury history

Only thing is that we'd struggle to replace him... Who do you sign that's as good as Sturridge for £45m and who would come to us. If we have to spend £50m+ on replacing Sturridge then I'd say it's not worth it at the moment.

PSG have completely laughed it off anyways.

Minor issue in any case but I can see your point now

He's BACK on the International stage. Hard to argue with Messi that's he's playing on another level to anyone else the World right now:

Do you have a teriyaki thigh though? I'd be expecting that as well if you're a Sturridge replacement.

With L'pool's continued forte of getting players injured whilst on International duty and the new ones to that list Origi and Benteke, he's currently our only healthy striker.

Which is frightening as all heck in itself.

Check out the Sturridge celebration back then...

Hahaha he's full of energy with his dancing there

So it turns out Liverpool didnt get the £75m for Suarez, they got 65m

I don't think its an issue they got £65m for him, but the way the club felt they needed to hide that says a lot.

Barca reported 64 or 65 Million pounds but Liverpool reported 75 Million. Everyone believed what they wanted.

Not how the Barca document reads and the 20% would be the difference. (If the contract that's appeared today is factual. Always sceptical about those things. Like the Martial one from the same site.).

None story aside from it brings home yet again how completely incompetent Ayre is at transfers. Woefully low price regardless.

Thankfully we've just 2 more windows to go with that buffoon here.

No, there is no tax applicable though. The contract states how Barca would pay should they be liable, but they actually did not end up being liable (Arsenal would have been, for example)
