Liverpool FC injury update: Divock Origi's season over - Liverpool Echo

More gutted for Divock. We have Sturridge back fit and firing on all cylinders so we're good. But Origi deserved to be a part of any Europa success. The way he's completely turned it around the past 6 months has been fantastic.

Get healthy soon kid. Hope you make it back for the Euro's. You deserve that. Certainly have a BIG role to play next season and beyond at Anfield.

Henderson, Can and now Origi all at the worst possible time.

Kop will be gone by then as usual. I was in ******* Thailand for the game I've missed!!

I'll just settle for where I was for Dortmund if I can. Lower Centenary near the kop, row 4.

Good luck mate. Can't see as they'll be anything going spare for this one. Even a lad who lives/ works in London who doesn't normally make midweeks is defo coming home for the semi.

Yup. 3 nights. Valencia, Villarreal, Valencia. (Sorry et. Know how much you love Valencia like myself.).

This run is killing me financially but meh, can't take it with you right?

I'm incredibly jealous. At this rate I won't be able to go any game next season. **** being a student, man.


Also I've got a video I want to share from the Dortmund game. Just leaving myself a note here so I remember to do it when I get in later.

I'm more gutted for Divock than I'm concerned about ourselves. No question he'd elevated himself to first choice with his brilliant form. And he gives you something Daniel doesn't with his strength and pace. Best at holding a ball up we have up there. But at least we now have a fully fit and firing Sturridge back and there's no more clinical a striker around when he's healthy.

Just gutted for the kid as he deserves to be playing a major part in this run-in all the way (hopefully) to Basle.
