If he has to have surgery thats his Euros over too.

Utterly pathetic from Mori.

You see his lame *** 'apology' via social media yesterday?

Then today Matinez's 'it's water under the bridge' line. Tell that to a kid in the form of his life who now could potentially miss out on a European final/ winners medal and a major International tournament the summer.

Genuine hoping we win, just to see it end his time at Everton. He's such a hypocrite. all managers are but he is among the worst for it

I'm more gutted for Divock than I'm concerned about ourselves. No question he'd elevated himself to first choice with his brilliant form. And he gives you something Daniel doesn't with his strength and pace. Best at holding a ball up we have up there. But at least we now have a fully fit and firing Sturridge back and there's no more clinical a striker around when he's healthy.

Just gutted for the kid as he deserves to be playing a major part in this run-in all the way (hopefully) to Basle.

Reports that he might play before the end of the season now. Who knows what's going to happen?

His progress this season has been outstanding. He was probably our 4th choice striker at the start of this season with Studge Benteke and Ings ahead of him.

I think United will win. Was texting my mate who's on his way to London earlier on, he said he had to drag himself out of bed and to the train station cos he didn't really feel up for it haha. I was buzzing when I was Wembley bound (albeit a final)

Exactly what I was saying last summer when he made that huge fuss over how Chelsea chased Stones completely ignoring the fact that he did the same when chasing Lukaku

You mean in Liverpool or PL?

In the PL. I'd contest there's no better all round striker outside of Augero than Sturridge when he's healthy. Which he's been for a good few months now. He's just been building his match fitness/ sharpness back up.

'Clinical' was a broad brush as Kane's most certainly that. And Vardy has been. This year. But when it comes to the all round package Sturridge is the most talented English player, not just striker, by a good ways and I don't think many neutral observers would argue with that. We've been privileged enough to have some of the best forwards of their respective generations over the years at Anfield and Sturridge is RIGHT up there with the very best goals wise. Wednesday was his 50th goal for L'pool in just 87 games. A goal every 1.74 games. Many of which he hasn't even finished or put together a solid, consistent run through injury. (Bournemouth last Sunday was the first time in 2 years he'd started 4 successive league games for example.).

It's frightening to think just how many more he'd now have for Liverpool where it not for the injuries. 87 games in 4 seasons is an absolute travesty. But when he is healthy, he's a wonderful footballer and one of the most dangerous strikers around. And (touch wood and crossing everything I have), he now appears to be finally over his problems and looking at his first proper pre-season in a good few years.

He's one of the very few genuine top echelon players that Klopp inherited.

Ticket availability at the moment. Not sure what the seats will be like in either sides of the kop. What you rekkon scouse?

Lower cent has a lot of row 1 seats available, it's there or the kop I rekkon.

I dont know. He is good striker without a doubt, but saying that he is as clinical as Kun. That guy is in another league comparing to PL strikers. Second fastest player to reach 100 goals in PL with 147 appearance.....

You misread me mate. I said when healthy and firing, he's the best striker in the league outside of Augero. Certainly IMHO. I'm in complete agreement with you Augero's out there on his own and is pushing up there with anything in the World when it comes to number 9's.

Nothing official on who Hodgson will take but you'd have to think surely Daniel will be one of the forwards taken. (Sadly from out POV. He could do with a break then back to a full, proper pre-season for the first time in like forever)

*Edit* And yeah, that's utterly fair and understandable on what he may/ may not ultimately be looked as down to injury. Hopefully, please God, he's now over his problems and next season won't be stop/ start for him and us.

Personally I'd take the Kop mate. Cheaper and better. But you could do without being stuck right out the far sides. Or that stupid over hang the end the Kemy/ Centenry that they class as part the Kop. The back would be sound. Everyone will be standing for that.

Scouse has gone and done it again! Can't wait for this day session!

You're determined to embarrass me aren't yers? Haha.

Just messing mate. Hope it's as memorable as the 'night' session Wednesday. Sorry I'm having to jib and prioritise next Thursday.

Mighty Reds!

Just because Rafa's back in town ..... The greatest night and the greatest European Cup Final of them all. Just love the ecstasy from Johnny Aldridge on the Radio City commentary mixed in the second one.

Too early in the morning to relive that second video. We truly are blessed to support Liverpool Football Club.

Apparently Sakho has been suspended by Liverpool for failing a drugs test. Supposed to have been taking a fat burning suppliment.

Yup, same thing Kolo got banned for when he was at City. Kolo got a 6 month ban IIRC, could be seeing the same for Sakho. Speaking of Kolo, guess he'll be stepping in.
