Firmino not picked as one of the over age players in the Brazilain Olympic squad.

Another major bonus after Phil's Copa ended early.

Both Brazilians for the start of pre-season after a break. Great news.

Too good to be true though as Mignolet will be starting in goal.

But for that to happen, he'd need to be conceding goals. Unless he's consigned to the bench, which is hardly encouraging either :P

He can be demoted to driving the darn bus if it means the Belgium buffoon's not in our nets come opening day at Arsenal!

Just thinking on, on Joel Matip .....

We're more than likely going to lose him January and maybe into February next year with Cameroon already qualified for the African Cup of Nations. (Sa, Jan.14- Su, Feb. 5.).

Possibly looking at upto 10 games maximum as we currently stand at a rough guess. 6 games in the league, City, Swansea and Chelsea- H/ Sunderland, United and Hull- A; with potentially 2 more the league cup if we're in the semi, and a further 2 the FA Cup 3rd and 4th rounds. Sucks he'll miss those three bolded biggies.

Makes me think even more they'll be another centre half added before the windows through with Sakho's future still so up in the air.

This will be an issue every other year as the CAN is on a two yearly cycle through 2023.

I had a dream Sakho scored a header and we were all going mad. Not sure if I predicted the future or if I was back at the Dortmund game.

Mainz finally official! 2:45 PM the day after Barca. Booking everything dirt cheap early pays off again!

This excites me more than any possible summer signing could. Go figure?

Just need Karius to jib the Olympics to go home with Klopp now haha.

*Edit*

Mainz 05 might be a TAD excited too! :D.

Another International one to add to Matip and the African Nations, it's the European Under 19's for two weeks in Germany next month. (M. 11- Su.24.). Both England and Serbia have qualified so I would guess there's fair chance both Grujic and Ojo at least will miss the first four domestic friendlies and will join back up out in America.

YES! Zielinski FINALLY starts for Poland. Sorry N. Ireland, but you're being sacked off to take a look at our new Pole!

There you go, Zielinski starting with Ukraine. Seems to be on the wing oddly enough.
