So this summer sees some depth leaving from your squad.
Latest rumores are that Lallana, Shaqir, Clyne(what was expected) . Will u be depending on youth or someone else on sight?

I personally foresee most clubs really putting proper emphasis on youth development in the interim as the pandemic completely changes the face fo the transfer market as it has most every aspect of life.

Mercifully for our sakes, their constant combined short and long term planning, on and off the pitch, has the football club, all things being equal, in as strong a position as anyone to navigate through without dropping off to any significant degree on the pitch.

Blossoming youth would have doubtless been a factor regardless with Neco Williams now the defacto back-up to Trent (which I'm sure someone like Adam Lewis would be to AndyRobbo already had he not been hit by injury this year given all the opportunity's that the youth had) / Curtis Jones becoming more involved in midfield etc. And then you have quality lads we've still to see the best of like Keita and Taki who've been added the last couple of years who are now assimilated. Oxo-Chambo should finally be back to full health and strength next season. And so-on.

L'pool thankfully isn't in a position to have to panic now if lads leave aren't replaced by any new acquisitions.

Related, I'm made up to read this AM the soon to be out of contract Lallana is signing an extension to see him through the rest of this season.

Rounds things off perfectly and properly for a great servant to the club and really important building block in laying the foundations for what Jürgen has evolved us into.

All this neutral venue talk is ***** imo. Wtf does our game Sheff Utd have to be at a neutral venue

It's discrimination toward northern football fans and shows the absolute disdain and contempt they continue to hold us in.

All the initial 5 games recommended to be flipped to neutral venues were all in northern city's. And all involving northern teams. We somehow can't behave and respect the lockdown rules through we've been under the past three months but southerners can. It completely stinks.

Related, this must be made up fake news. Only L'pool fans would do this in celebration right? -

WOW! We know we're being run as financially self-sufficient as we ever have been but those are mighty large figures.

Even more so when we're the only top 6 club to increase spending year-on-year and still come out, along with Arsenal, as the only big club to record year-on-year operating profits.

Yeah. We'll have to adjust accordingly in this new football landscape we're now in like every other club but we'll be sound.

Took me a second to realize it's a joke, shows you how crazy the last few weeks have been.

I really envy you mate.

Living in a country that actually cares about its citizens to act fast over CV by going into lockdown early to now be sat at just over a 1k deaths I believe coming out the other side.

As opposed to here with a completely unfit for office Government, lead by an incompetent, fascist, racist, lying ____house with rivers of blood on his hands as we continue, as we have done from the start, handle and bungle our way through the crisis as bad as, if not worse, than any other Country on Earth. Certainly in Europe.

Must be nice.

For now we look better, but jury is still out whether quick lockdown was a good idea in the long run. As soon as we started softening up the restrictions there was a huge spike in the spread of the virus.

I'm starting to suspect there isn't really a good strategy for this ****. Delay the lockdown and it hits you fast and hard. But do a harsh lockdown immidiately like we did and you still get hit hard, just few months later.

Yeah but your way hasn't cost you over 60K deaths and rising. Well over a 10th of the total Worldwide deaths. Of which we learned this week around half that number could have been saved if we'd acted quicker instead of the imbecile in charge F off on holiday back in February. All now to again go against expert advice and start opening things up again WAY too fast to an inevitable 2nd wave.

But enough of that before I really start on the base incompetency of hese Evil bastards!

The Blackburn highlights from yesterday fro anyone interested-

Not sure why he's cut that short of the 6th, but Leighton's goals on the end of that-

Still not planning on watching a week Sunday looking at that. Just can't get into this BCD farce at all.

I appreciate the unprecedented scenario of why. Even if I don't agree.

Football without fans is NOTHING!

If anyone one was in any doubt what a 'ME first' ***** Werner is we didn't need, he's withdrawn himself from RBL's Champions League squad so he can move to Chelsea next month.

What a stellar F teammate that lad is. RBL must be made up.

Yeah the lad is going nowhere with that kind of attidude. I could understand pulling out of the league to avoid injury before the transfer, but not wanting to play in CL quarterfinals?
