I’ll put this up now as we aren’t due in until 1:40 AM. 🥱🥱 I’ll be too goosed come tomorrow morning. And I’m all ale’d out right now after all that was drunk coming down to drown my sorrows further. Let’s do this …..

So the quadruple attempt becomes another treble attempt after that absolute S/show from back to front today. Which all feels very 1984 and a FAR bigger shock than this when we went out to Brighton on the South Coast. Same round. Also on a Sunday. Terry Connor and all that. The second successive year a full strength Liverpool went out of the FA Cup to Brighton. 1983 was an even bigger shock as they won at Anfield. Jimbo coming home to score past us. So for all the absolute nonsense about Slot ‘Disrespecting the FA Cup/ Treating Plymouth lightly’ et al (Not sure how a side with 7 established, regular Internationals in it, along with an 8th off the bench, is showing any disrespect to anyone but yanno’ ….. ? 🤷‍♂️), Cup shocks happen to the very best of sides. Thats what makes this competition so endearing and STILL the single best knock-out cup competition in World football for me.

We were just completely off it in a horrendous display. The winner was fitting as that was a nonsense peno to give away from H. All credit going to Plymouth. They FULLY deserved the win for all the hard graft they put in. A very even game, but their work ethic and endeavour deserved it. All the best to them for the next round and survival. Savour your special day today. Moments and memories like these are what football support is ALL about. Congratulations Pilgrims.

I’m gutted as it’s the FA Cup and all that means every season to my City and the football club that represents us. But hey, S happens. And like 1984, we now go all out for another treble. I’m sat here typing this even more confident of beating Everton. Aside from the relentless mentality of this group to bounce straight back, Slot has NEVER lost back-to-back games of football in his managerial career. And that phenomenal record isn’t about to end this week!

Here’s hoping, that the injury to JMG isn’t serious. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻

And, with my Dallas hat on, Argyle are the only team in green winning today! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🪷

Right, I fibbed. Pass me a bottle. Exeter next stop. The next 6 hours or so will fly by …..

Up the down but FAR from deflated Reds!

My head is on the moon after that performance from Oliver. How often does he have to show incompetence before being taken off our games.

I like to have a nights sleep before I comment on a game. Reactionary guff that many partake in serves little purpose. But I’m still as fuming this AM as I was last night. So apologies if this bounces around.

Yesterdays admin-

Curtis Jones might be the greatest living Liverpudlian yanno’. Seriously. The end of the game yesterday with that utter gobS Doucoure he was ALL of us. Never been prouder of one of our own, Gerrard, Stevie McMahon, Terry Mac, Trent et al included. PROPER Scouser him who knows EXACTLY what the Derby means and how utterly hate filled its become.

And then you get to the ‘alleged'’ Scousers the other side who displayed the woolest of wool behaviour the end. Is the party still going on down County Road this morning? I mean, aside from the fact L’pool, as robbed blind as they were, ultimately did their job and went a whopping 3 games clear with just 14 to play, has there EVER been anything more Everton than celebrating a draw like they just won the league and European cup as one? Not a win. A DRAW! And at that, a draw that takes L’pool another massive step closer to the end goal. Pitch invasions and all sorts. Lonsdale wearing scruffs deserve their nothing club being permanently in the S with small time, wool behaviour like that. Enjoy the party I guess.

Arne Slot misses out on any claim with Curtis for greatest living Liverpudlian (like Jurgen, he’s FULLY one of us already), for NOT sticking one on that continued disgrace Oliver. 🤬I don’t know what he said to him at the end to get the red, but it was nowhere near strong enough! He should have just sparked him and then gone and volleyed that Manc C Kavanagh all over too!

I’m not normally A about the officials. Never have subscribed to the mad conspiracies that the PGMOL are out to get us. You could replace Oliver for any other refs name last night. They are all rank bad for EVERY team. Let’s get that clear. This isn’t a L’pool thing. This is a league wide thing. And they aren’t corrupt. They are just genuinely, historically bad at their jobs. But that last night leaves you absolutely fuming this morning ….. Neither Everton goal should have stood. Salah gets volleyed all over and nothing gets given. You blow on a Blue and he’s steaming in. Ineptitude of a magnificent order that deprived us of a winning record at the Pit. And make no mistake, it would have been a tad unfair to win on the basis of play in a poor Derby. But the fact they never scored one legit goal really rankles right now. 🤬🤬

Back to the mongrels ….. not sure what Moyes is on about as Goodison was really subdued for their last ever Cup Final there. Normally it’s on top of you. But from our equaliser to the last second disgrace, it was FAR from that. Our end was proper funny like with all the 30 year anny balloons and 1995 banners and songs. But celebrating a DRAW like you’d just won the lot! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ NEVER change Blues. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It hit me last night that I might never walk through Stanley Park again. Rarely come in from that side of the ground. Might never go the Arkles again. Always our pre-match Goodison watering hole. But never for a home game. Sad that they have moved from the house of wood when you look at it like that.

Anyway, I need to start work and stop fuming over Olivers incompetence.

At least the County Road revellers got to see this seasons Champions in the flesh last night. Of that I have NO doubt!

Up the ‘Thank the Lord we aren’t THEM tramps’ Reds!

Does anyone know if VAR even checked Beto's goal? It looked incredibly tight for offside, yet on TV they didn't even show VAR looking at it, let alone drawing lines.

Yesterday was giving off these vibes

Touch wood but thats the league wrapped up for me, seems surreal even typing that but this Arne Red machine he has created spearhead by Salah isn't stopping for anyone.

Turns out dirty Leeds aren’t all bad after all …..

That should be brought back yanno’. Carrying the trophies out for the Charity Shield.

McConnell and Nyoni really are establishing themselves as viable members of the midfield corp. 8th and 12th time respectively both have been involved in the match day 20/22 this season. Massive kudos to everyone at Kirkby for their continued development. Made up to see Freddy Church among the bench options too. 🇮🇹

With absolutely no disrespect intended to PSG. I’m already on to Villa and a day out in Birmingham April 16 to see us reach the semis.

What a F night! PROPER pride night from Europes best! I was buzzing writing this at 0-0. The Harvey winner has just taken that pride to another level.

Current total game unbeaten run:
P 6 W 4 D 2 F 11 A 5 CS: 3
3 straight wins/ 3 Straight CS.

Current unbeaten away total games run:
P 4 W 2 D 2 F 7 A 4 CS: 2
2 Straight Win/ 2 Straight CS.

Absolutely superb Redmen. Proper old school, Euro away that. Weather the storm, in a hostile atmosphere, see it through, and get out of there with the home leg in your back pocket. I really loved how that was achieved. I mean you could pick out Ally who was stupendous and showed yet again that there’s NO goalie on the planet to touch him. Or both FB’s who were outstanding. Harvey with the boys own winner. Darwin showing when he’s the man, he’s the absolute F man!!!!! But honestly, that was a team of absolute heroes who ALL worked their collective backsides off in a fantastic, heroic away European display at a top continental side.

Among the totally weird feelings to be sat at home for once watching a Euro away (No way could I personally go back to Paris so soon after the horrific trauma of the final. Happy I didn’t), yanno’, honestly, that’s one of the proudest I’ve been of them in any game this season.

Superb Redmen. Classical, two legged European knockout football at its best. THAT’S how you handle a super tough Euro away!

Can’t wait to have roles reversed next Tuesday at an absolutely off the charts, wild Anfield. Let’s see how PSG cope in the face of that!

Up the job F DONE! Reds!

I LOVED the way Darwin went straight into Donuruma. You could clearly hear the Italian shouting ‘Stupido! Stupido!’

Is right lad. He’s OUR Stupido! And we F love the bones of him!
