Morning,

First business ticked off this morning. Season ticket finally renewed for the 39th straight season. Admittedly a BIG leap of faith without knowing what’s happening with Chiesa. But that’s how I roll. 😛

Now, some breakie, then let’s go party what’s been 35 of those seasons in the waiting! 🎉🎊🕺🕺🕺🎊🎉
You mean for the 100th season. We all know you're an ageless vampire Scouse who's been around since the dawn of time :ROFLMAO: . Congratulations, mate and long may the good times continue.

Yes, all our crew are safe and sound. Thank you.

I was hoping to write on what an absolutely joyous, euphoric weekend that had been in the City. But I just have little words to properly convey the feeling now after the horrendous end to it. Mercifully no fatalities. But too many families not home last night and hospitalised.

I can’t begin to tell you the horrible memories that brought back from ‘89 when you are trying to get in touch with everyone you know, and then waiting for them to check in safe and sound.

A real sobering, smack in the face to what’s truly important in life after an absolutely awesome few days.

Hug your loved ones this AM that you are home together with them. ❤️

I said the end of last week I’d made a school boy error in agreeing to go into work this avvy. But I thought that would be down to feeling like S from three days of mad partying. Which it was fixing to be before you got smacked in the face with the biggest sobering up call you could get last night.

That was one LONG work afternoon. Numb and not engaged doesn’t begin to cover me. I might well have not been in. I want to write something on the sad passing of one of Shankly’s greats. Willie Stevenson. But I really have little interest in football right now. Going through contacting everyone I know, and then the waiting for them all to check in safe and well last night, brought back those horrible memories you try so hard to repress. But that are always and forever there bubbling under the surface the past 36 years and counting. All it takes is something out of the blue to knock you on your backside and take you right back. And last night did that for me.

Great to read everyone’s recovering well. Absolute God given miracle we aren’t mourning fatalities again. 🙏❤️

It is with a heavy heart, the for the 40th straight year on this date I say

Liverpool ricorda. Dio resto.

With the help of Google translator from the Italian-

Liverpool remembers. God rest. 🙏❤️

The word Aura is thrown about but man I just love this man. What has gone understated is how the captains armband has taken his game to another level. I know Salah recently said he can play till his 40 but this man defo can. To quote Pep "We cannot replace him" 😆 😂 😂

Pep going to City has put a dampener on this weekend,

Very disappointing that from a modern day L’pool great and legend of the Klopp era.

From being a mini Jurgen, it turns out he doesn’t get it at all. Owen level bad that.

Very disappointing indeed.

Congrats and all the best to the greatest living Evertonian.

And my sincerest thanks for his major part in bringing home #20. I wouldn't imagine, the legacy Cruyff laid down at Barcelona aside, there's any bigger lure, for any Dutchman, than that wonderful football club in Amsterdam.
