Hi guys, back again. Sorry it hasn't been updated for a couple of weeks ish but I've been away so I'll update it again soon.
 
I have just started this challenge today, not a great start, only 1 point from the first 9 but we have played pretty well and hopefully the results should pick up soon. Losing Nicholls for 5 months won't ehlp though.

After being unhappy with Emanuel in the first few games I have just managed to get Gilbert on a free after noticing him earlier in this thread, hopefully he can provide some stability down the left hand side along with Walter Lopez who I got on loan.

Things have just got a lot harder, as well as losing Nicholls, now I have lost Slusarski, Gilbert, Parkin, Emanuel and Lopez all for a month. Down to the bare bones!

Stick with it, can get pretty amazing, i have just finished the 2015/16 season losing to West Ham in the Coca Cola Championship Final, will probably be starting my own thread with full details in coming days.

Gents, unfortunately having just tried to load up this game I come bearing bad news... The game is corrupt so the Luton Challenge 9.3 is no longer I'm afraid...

Watch this space though as a new game is coming shortly, The Christchurch Challenge... Will post a new thread later with pre-season.

Sorry to hear that had corrupted mate it has happend to me once or twice and its really annoying but if you wanted you can start a new challange
 
Nope, no back up.. Oh well like all good managers I'll bounce back ;)

The Christchurch challenge will only be better though
 
I enjoyed reading your thread and decide to take this challenge as my first LLM attempt.....with 30 pts in the hole and no money it is a challenge and no good scouts or cheats I am doing this old school.....I would suggest Demontagnac...a left midfielder I found on a free transfer.....starts out rought with the fans but becomes solid on the left as there is no one on the squad to handle that position....

I think I have the quality to keep Luton up.....but two of my long term loans are already used up ... Martin is a muppet...and total waste in my setup..well see how we do
