Going for player-coach role at Anderlecht. Didn't expect that!
Doubt it'd be possible to do both at such a big club...

Manchester City have signed West Bromwich Albion’s 16-year-old Morgan Rogers in a deal worth around £4m and overseen at the highest levels by director of football Txiki Begiristain.
Rogers, who will have to wait 17 days to sign his professional deal on his 17th birthday, was having a medical at the clubs training ground today.
His acquisition is one of the highest fees paid for a boy of his age by a Premier League club in recent years and was pursued on the insistence of Begiristain. The Spaniard would not usually get involved in academy recruitment but regarded Rogers’ signing as a priority.
The extent of the fee is not yet know but it is expected to be in excess of £4m. There has been major competition among Europe’s top clubs for the 2003-born cohort of English players, many of whom have rejected scholarships at their childhood clubs.
Louie Barry, also 16, has rejected a scholarship at West Brom to take a similar deal with a professional contract attached at Barcelona. He was the subject of competition with Paris Saint Germain interested. Clubs outside England are able to acquire scholar age players for relatively small Fifa compensation fees.
The same is not the case when they move within the English game. The deal to take Harvey Elliott, 16, to Liverpool after he rejected a scholarship at Fulham is expected to be significant.

Manchester City have also signed Liam Delap, also 16, the son of Rory. The teenager’s former club Derby County will be compensated. The signing of boys of scholar age is now regarded as one of the biggest markets with a good generation of English players attracting interest from across Europe. For the likes of West Brom and Fulham there are bigger fees to be made selling players who have refused scholar deals within the English game.

This kid's year group has been very good. What's been clear is how many of them aren't afraid to leave boyhood clubs, or to go abroad as options, and it's also not necessarily about breaking though for them, its going yo places to develop for the next 3 years, and making sure they are ready to be professional footballers at any club, whether its the one they are at, or getting transfers. Really mature from the players, and great investment from the people around them in understanding what's out there

The Academy is going great... Muric/Foden/Poveda/Garcia in the first team squad, Angelino leaving for time and activating his return clause. Diaz earned himself a move to Madrid, Montado to Schalke. Considering the youth system used to produce players for Bury/Reading all avenues in footballing terms, and off field is developed to move/play anywhere. Made 153m in sales since it opened, its a stunning site. Taking my sister to the WMCFC games this season as well..

Yeah stopped by once after a Utd u23s match can’t help be impressed with the setup!

Did you see the state of that land prior to development? christ

The Wastelands man. Doesn't matter who you support, if you care about Manchester as a city, you can only applaud what they have done there

New plans to expand next few years are being submitted as well..

The plan has a new indoor Music arena to be located to the North of our Stadium. This would have a capacity of over 20000 and would be linked to the Etihad campus by a series of bars, restaurants, hotels and shops.
Other development would build upon the CFA, Etihad Stadium, British Cycling, Tennis Centre and Squash Centre who are all currently located on site. Attracting further Sports is already ongoing with British Rugby League moving their headquarters into the site and with the building of a new Sports University complex.
