If every shot on target against City went in this year they would still have won the league !!!

God knows how, Trapp is not as good, Ozil has been rubbish all season, Joachim Low has made a blunder there.

To not take Sane to the WC feels like a crime. 14 goals and 19 assist, most goal contribution of all Germans and one of the best players in Premier League? The least they can do is have him in the squad!

His record for Germany is dogshit at best.

Leroy Sané’s stats for Germany:

12 apps
0 goals
1 assist
592 mins per goal / assist

Dropped!

And they picked Brandt who has 15 games and 1 goal...
Even just use him as explosive super sub, god **** he was not the guy I would have tough to be left out from World Cup...

True! How many of the German squad play in Germany and how many in the rest of Europe? Just a thought ;)

Can't believe Yaya's interview.

Great player but glad he's no longer at the club, he's always been a ******** but playing the race card against Pep takes the cake.

It's downright inexcusable to leave Sane out of the squad. One of the best wingers in Europe this season, he even went down to the final game to decide Top Assister between himself & De Bruyne, just missing out.

The fact they have brought nobody like him (or as good) in the squad makes it even more mind boggling. It's not like the Martial/French situation where they have Mbappe and Dembele. I'd near have him in the XI, never mind squad. Crazy, crazy stuff.

He's an absolute ****, but when you look into it, it's a little odd how Pep has never entertained his black African players. Of course Yaya was over the hill in Pep's City tenure, but he did get rid of him at Barca. All coincidental, perhaps, but a bit funny. Pep on not liking & selling peak Samuel Eto'o: "There is not a single major reason for this decision. It is a matter of feeling and sensations"

Yaya was sold to bring in Sergio Busquets; someone that Pep had managed his full career and trusted greatly. I don't think anything of Yaya being sold at Barca that one makes sense to me.

Seydou Keita played almost 200 games under Pep at Barca and we're currently looking at making Mahrez our most expensive signing ever.

I'm not saying he's racist, he obviously isn't, just saying there are some chuckle-worthy coincidences that do match up to Yaya's conspiracy.

TBF, Low is a defending World Champion with a superb 12-year record as National team boss.

As surprising as leaving Sane out is on the face of it, it's **** hard to argue with the squad selection of a man of that pedigree who has every chance of being in the final defending the title when it's all said and done.

My thoughts exactly!

I can see why Low left Sané out but... he is way, way better than Brandt. Germany could miss a player like him in the second half of a difficult game.

Brandt’s a very tidy little player yanno. Not had anything like the season Sane has, which is a head scratcher if you’re picking on form. And he’s been a bit slower in his development. But I wouldn’t sleep on him as an impact player off the bench. He’s got terrific, old school winger ability.
