Juan Guillermo Cuadrado
- Udinese - £8.75M
View attachment 41398

Carrington training ground was busy with people rushing around all over. A sence of mystery consumed reporters and staff alike within the complex. Mason had earlier promised that a special someone would be arriving and that his prescence wouldn't dissapoint anyone. Reporters were gathered outside the gates and were eager to find out who this "special" person was.

A blacked out Range Rover appeared and swifly manouvered itself around wandering reporters. The flashes from the cameras were electrifying but still no one got a glimpse of the mystery man. After a few intense minutes one of the Range Rovers door swung open and out appeared the man of the moment.

The reporters again produced another wave of flashes that probably blinded the now recognised ex-Udinese player... Juan Guillermo Cuadrado. After a few moments he was taken by the arm and led into the Carrington complex. The scenes mirrored the arrival of James Beattie last season but this time less negative feedback was given.

Three quarters of an hour passed and the excited journalists nearly wet themselves when they saw Cuadrado exit the building with a home Man Utd shirt on bearing the number 22 on it.

Cuadrado had a good season last season and Man Utd weren't the only team interested, Arsenal, Fiorentina and Schalke were also interested but Mason used his persuasive powers to lure his man.

Mason Said "I am dead pleased to have Juan sign today I think he will have a fantastic career here and at only 22 he has a bright future ahead of him. I believe... no wait I know he will offer great service into the box and his dribbling is almost at world class status. A good day today I'm happy"

Jonathan Dos Santos - Genoa - £4.6M
View attachment 41399

Mason had flown to Italy to thrash out a deal with Genoa and their starlet Dos Santos. When he arrived he was embroiled in a huge debate between the club (Genoa) and it's fans. They were demonstrating against selling a player that they felt would give the club a healthy future. Mason wasn't invited to the clubs stadium and instead signed the Former Barcelona star in a nearby hotel.

Mason admitted that he had been "intimidated by the fans behaviour" and was "glad" that Genoa moved the meeting to a "less hostile environment".

Dos Santos beamed as he stated that it was a "dream come true to play in England" and that he "couldn't wait" to join up with his teamates and to face his brother Giovanni Dos Santos (Tottenham) in the Premier League.

Raul Nava
- Toluca - £2.7M
View attachment 41401

This youngster has been a top priority for the Man Utd manager, he has had his scouts watching him and snapped him up as soon as he could.

05/08/10

Jonas Ramalho - AC Milan - £2.4M
View attachment 41402

Rated a top talent by Milan legend Leonardo, They couldn't keep hold of him however as he handed in a transfer request so he could join the Red Devils.

22/08/10

Lorenzo Crisetig - Inter Milan - £2.4M
View attachment 41400

Another top talent from Milan, this time though at Inter. He was told he was surplus to requirements at the San Siro so sounded out a come and get me plea to Tobey Mason who happily accepted.

It's edited to have the likes of Ronaldo, Messi etc... That's why it says 'Fantasy' but i'm going for youth now.

Community Shield - 2010

With Man Utd sweeping up all the trophies last season it fell to last years second placed team Liverpool to try and stop Man Utd's dominance and to stop their trophy cabinet collapsing due to all the intake of silverware.

With the heated atmosphere already tense between the managers, the match could flare up some feisty incidents. These two teams are sworn enemies and will be doing whatever they can to try and start with a great win this season.

Mason witnessed his side hand in a dismal display, he was agitated and animated on the touchline. He only stopped in order to give Benitez 'the glare'. It has been well known that these two managers really can't stand each other and have has several public spats.

Man Utd slumped to the defeat that will shock many, howevver the Liverpool fans will be celebrating well into the night. Benitez even walked up to Mason and taunted him by copying the Man Utd managers infamous "jig" and performing it in front of him.

After the match Mason ordered his team to leave Wembley without giving any interviews and travelled back to Manchester without the squad as he said he was "too angry" with his squad.

The Premier League Begins Again!

August

14/08/10

The Premier league kicks off this month and with thousands of fans gearing up for another explosive season it looks set to be as good as any season before it. The likes of Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Livepool will be trying to prove they are the top team in England, trying to out do each other and clamber to the top of the table and stay there untill the end of the season..

Tottenham, Aston Villa, Everton and Man City will all hopefully be trying break into the top four of the illustrious league, so they can participate in the European Champions League next season.

Man Utd manager Tobey Mason has promised the fans that an "exciting season" will be on offer and has said that he will "not change anything about the way he manages or conducts himself on matchdays". This will make for interesting viewing when Man Utd play Liverpool as both Mason and Benitez have made it publicly known they cannot stand each other.

Portsmouth 1 V 3 Man Utd - Diop, Young, Zezinho(2)
attachment.php

Man Utd started the campain with a strong start, they took apart an average Portsmouth side who looked distinctly distracted due to possible administration problems. Diop managed to put them ahead with a fantastic header but a goal from Young and two from the lively Zezinho who has progressed from the reserves took the match out of Portsmouth's grasp.

21/02/10

Man Utd 1 V 0 Stoke - Lodeiro

attachment.php

With Lodeiro continuing his good goalscoring record against the Potters he also won the match for the Red Devils. Lilly Allen (His girlfriend) was seen in the stands and during his goal celebration he blew a kiss to her before being wrestled to the groud by his excited team mates. Mason should have been blowing Lodeiro kisses as the young attacking midfielder spared his managers blushes and earned th three points.

GOALS

Marquinhos (90)

Man Utd manager Tobey Mason was seen biting his nails during this match, he seemed like a bag of nerves and shun anybody that approached him.

In a match that saw the winners of the Uefa Champions League and the Uefa Europa League face off against each other, many were left disappointed by both teams performances. Only one goal seperated the teams, a good goal from Marquinhos right at the death. The rest of the match left many fans wondering what all the fuss was about and many of them disheartened that they'd paid alot of money to see a encounter that was so dull.

Mason said after the game that " I was nervous throughout that whole match, I didn't want to think about leaving the stadium without this trophy. Who knows when we'll ever get the chance to win it again".

Mason now has to turn his players attentions back to the Premiership with a match against Sheffield United coming up soon...

great post man. btw are you getting any silly offers from city or chelsea for your players
?
plus since u r focusing on youth now are you thinking of selling the likes of beattie and co?

Beattie will probably go next season and Gerrard keeps getting personal problems so him too.

September:

Man Utd who have won their first two Premiership games this season, enter a very busy month with a handful of League games they also have two Champions League games and a League Cup match.

Mason has stated that he doesn't think the "dominance" that was shown last season will continue as their fixture schedule could include more than 60 matches if they have long cup runs. They also have the World Club Championship to compete in in December. With so many games and the chance for fatigue and possibly injury Mason has set his teams target which is to retain the Premiership title.

03/09/10

Man Utd 2 V 1 Sheffield Utd - Beattie, Young, Teixiera

View attachment 43994

The odds on favourites Man Utd didn't play at their best and were often carried through the match by their fans. Beattie scored a close range shot and Ashley Young scored well just before half time. Alex Teixiera scored for the Blades makimng it an edgey end to the match.

10/09/10

Bolton 0 V 1 Man Utd - Marquinhos

View attachment 43996

A much better display from the Red Devils this week as they proved they can still win matches even when they don't play well at all. A bit of Marquinhos magic ensured Man Utd earned all three points and sent Bolton tumbling back home empty handed.

13/09/10

Shakhtar 0 V 5 Man Utd - Kaká(2), Rooney(2), Messi

View attachment 43993
attachment.php

Man Utd's first match this season in the Champions League ended in a flourish.
Kaká and Rooney both scored two goals a piece and made sure Shakhtar's night couldn't have ended any quicker. Mason was smiling ear to ear and even bought out the 'Jig'.

18/09/10

Man Utd 4 V 2 Sunderland - Villa, Dzeko,
Kaká(2), Bent, Reid
View attachment 43997

Man Utd seem back to their usual selves as they trounced Sunderland and walked all over the Sunderland tactics. Villa and Dzeko will be pleased that they were on the scoresheet as they will both wan't a hat of goals this year.

23/09/10

Man Utd 6 V 0 Swindon - Villa(3), Marcelo, Kompany, Cuadrado

View attachment 43995

League Cup action and with Man Utd in rampant form once again it was like throwing Swindon to the dogs.Man Utd mauled them and made sure they left with their tales between their legs. Mason again played down Man Utd's form saying... "There is still a LONG way to go until we gain success this season"

27/09/10

Man Utd 2 V 1 Liverpool - Beattie, Zezinho, Riera

View attachment 44002

Rafa V Mason ding.. ding.. A fairly quiet encounter between these two ballsy managers who have a hatred burning more so than Obi Wan and Anakin Skywalker. Man Utd outplayed Liverpool and with James Beattie scoring the opening goal from a fine freekick. Zezinho then finished the match off with a clever chip over the keeper. Riera scored a late consolation but nothing after materialised.

30/09/10

Man Utd 5 V 0 Anorthosi - Zezinho, Ferdinand, Babacar, Young, Ronaldo

Man Utd continued to dominate their Champions League group with another scalp, this time with a win against Anorthosi. Youngster Babacar made a rare appearance, scoring what could be a career boosting goal.

SEPTEMBER OVERVIEW

View attachment 44016

While Mason was away with his wife celebrating his anniversary and Ferguson taking more and more time off due to his impending retirement, the Premierleague have given Harry Redknapp permission to act as stand in manager for a few days. Last year he was caught up in a tax scandal with the taxman and ordered out of White Hart Land by Daniel Levy and fined £100,000 by the taxman. He was banned from managing a team for 18 months but the Premierleague chiefs have given Mab Utd permission to let him take charge for 72 hours.

He said in a Man Utd press conference that he was "sorry" for what he had done and that being at Manchester United had "changed" him for the "better". He went on to say that he owes Man Utd his career and will "stay on in any capacity" to prove his loyalty "Even as a ball boy" he jokingly said.

He re-itterated what Mason has said aswell that "Man Utd have too many games to win everything on offer this season and that they will try and retain the Premierleague, but anything else is a consolation.

Sorry, but i dont really understand the point of this...i guess if its the kindas thing you enjoy, just giving your team all the great players then go ahead. But it just seems pointless...Any tactic you use with this team will work....Try doing more of a challenge, like take over a League 1 team or something...i dont see the point of this, if all you do is win games with ease.

It's more on the point of developing the youth. I have since lost this game as it now crash dumps everytime I load it up. Thankyou to all who followed I hope you enjoyed it.

is this still goin? because it was a great story despite me not commenting much
