'Kiko' Femenia
was bought in the summer and has excelled from the beginning of the season to now. His price of £425k has already been dubbed as a bargain. The potential 'Kiko' shows is undeniable and he is definately worth keeping an eye on.

Ronaldo

Regarded as one of the best if not the best in the world. Ronaldo has had a good season, Nothing spectacular but a good solid campaign. Mason undoubtedly will want perhaps a little bit more if not at least the same form for next season.

Gerrard

Gerrard looked unsettled at times last season, perhaps not adjusting well to the rotation policy Mason uses. Twice last season he went on a break due to issues on and off the pitch. Next season Mason will wan't more or else there might be a certain Liverpudlian leaving Old Trafford.

Messi

Often regarded as the 'Messiah' Messi played an integral part in the Red Devils campain. Whipping in crosses and deceiving defnders with his trickery was as good as any other player for United this season. He can only get better and better.

Ronaldinho

Not too happy at being a bit part player but injury and loss of form dictated alot of Ronaldinho's season. He was used as a tutor to many of the younger players, a role in which he and the youngsters loved.

Marquinhos

Marquinhos was a joy to behold last season, ripping up defences with his sheer skill and trickery. He broke his way into the Brazil national side and earned himself a whole hoard of fans both Red and Yellow. definately the shining star of the season.

Young

Definately another player worth his weight in gold, all £12.6million pounds worth of it. Young supplied the precise ball strikers are looking for when receiving a cross. His speed underpins his ability to shake off defenders and his ambition is second to none. Another exciting player Man Utd possess.

Lodeiro

Lodeiro is a real work horse on the pitch, he isn't afraid to put in a strong tackle and can unleash a powerful shot when he want's to. His blossoming romance with Lilly Allen might worry Mason to how focused he is but all in all a great season for the lad.

Kak

Kak
á should be pleased with his season as he was another player to pick up slight injuries prodominately throughout the campain. He will be ready for next season and will feel he has something to prove. A fans favourite and a special player United have in their ranks.

Silva

Silva was persistant enough through the season but earned himself a long execution of bench sitting after he injured his Achilles during a match against Blackburn. Now ready to return Silva hopefully will be raring for the new season.

Rooney didn't adapt well to the the rotation policy Mason has implemented, Scoring only six goals. Rooney will be unhappy he didn't take his chances well in front of goal. He will most likely expect more matches next season.

Villa

David Villa has had a decent season. Often playing alongside Rooney and often outplaying him and capturing more headlines. Again not totally happy with the rotation policy but happy with his own season.

Beattie

James Beattie was pleased with his first season at Man Utd, with many fans thinking he wasn't up to Man Utd's calibre, his spirited displays and importatnt goals however earned him a place in their hearts.

Sánchez

Sánchez was bought in January and quickly showed off his talents and lived up to his high price tag. He slotted into the team with ease and will be looking foward to next season.

Agüero

A good solid season ensured Agüero made alot of headlines, carrying the team through some matches and scoring important goals. Mason has stated he wikl do all he can to keep him at Old Trafford and will try to play him more.

Man Utd's targetman had a great season scoring some amazing headers. He often popped up to score the winning goal and again was a player that saved Man Utd's bacon several times.

The effort, you put, into the thread is great, the only thing wrong or bad about the whole thing is, the team, i mean, it's super.

It would of been so much better if you did a normal team.

Well done tho.

Cheers coach. yea I know people will think that but i'm enjoying it. Trying to get the youngsters involved more without upsetting the first teamers.

You overplayed Beattie 10 sub appearances and 2 starts is enough for him ;-)
Keep it up though

Man Utd Season Final Overview

Man Utd enjoyed a season full of success', they overcame almost impossible odd's at times and made sure the 2009-2010 season will always be remembered by Red Devil fans young or old.

Mason will be looked at as a hero by the Man Utd contingent but could be a casualty of his own success if future seasons don't live up to this one.

F.A Cup - Premier League - League Cup

The directors at Man Utd are already discussing contract extensions with players and staff and want to keep the core of Manchester United the same as it was last season. If future success' are to come though, Mason has stated that next year he wants a biggish transfer budget to buy new players to further strengthen his squad.

Mason said the biggest achievement of last season was winning the Champions League. "All last season when it came to the Uefa Champions League games my players were sore and weary from fatigue. I told them to feel what it would be like holding the trophy at the end of the season to gee them up. Now they finally have the reward for all the hard work" Mason said in an interview.

Mason has already started thinking about the next season and will look to carry on the success here and retain the trophies he has.

What would people like me to add for next season any players you guys can recomend.?

You can add the new United logo I made for you. ;)

Hey matey, just spent the morning reading this - at 1st i thought what is the point as the team is just full of world beaters, but, now i've become hooked on reading the updates. Its making great reading. It will be interesting to see how the youngsters progress. Also, have you thought about upgrading your staff to 5 * or do you already have alot of them........ KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK :D

Although I despise fantasy stories, your writing and layout is probably the best on the site. So for those reasons I have to follow, although it would be immense to see you start at a normal club, your following would be insane. Keep it up mate!

I agree with Andy but I think it has gone a bit too far with fantasy. Nevertheless, I couldn't stop reading but next time try and start a normal game. Good luck though.

THE 2010-2011 SEASON NEARLY BEGINS

The World Cup is over, England were dumped out in the Quarters AGAIN… Argentina went on to beat Brazil in the final and the former winners Italy were branded incompetent for failing to get out of the group stages. Not a very exciting campaign which was dominated by the South American giants leaving Europe’s elite trailing in their wake.

Now that the World Cup is over football fans have been fidgeting with boredom most of the summer. Every Saturday they have gazed into a blank TV screen hoping, wishing and praying that it might flicker on with their team playing a game. The pubs which are usually packed to the brim on the weekends have barely been able to serve the local drunk as he too is a football fan. Husbands have been incessantly harassed to go shopping on Saturdays and have traipsed around shoes shops looking for the perfect pair. The kids want you to play down the park with them but seeing children kicking a football around makes it all too unbearable to believe that the footy wouldn’t be on when you get home.

But fear not men of Britain as the new season will be underway shortly, so dig out that football shirt which hasn’t been worn since the last match day, last season. Tell the wife to cancel the family vacation or to go without you and make sure you reserve the barstool nearest the widescreen TV in your local pub.

But before you lick your lips with anticipation and excitement of such matches like Man Utd V Chelsea, Arsenal V Liverpool and Hull V Sheffield Utd… Pre-season has to be played. So the best thing to do would be to grab yourself an ice cold beer and tune in.

Pre-Season 2010/2011

Etienne Dufrain Charity League

13/07/10

Man Utd 3 V 0 Udinese - Rooney(2), Ferdinand

View attachment 40834

Man Utd started pre-season well, Wayne Rooney looked sharp and scored two goals which will have pleased his manager. Rio Ferdinand scored a powerful header to make it three goals. Ferdinand will want to recapture the form he had last season as he was red hot throughout most of last campaign.

15/07/10

Man Utd 7 - 0 River - Femenia, Zezinho, Rooney(2), Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Beattie

View attachment 40835

River aren’t usually pushovers but pretty much rolled over and let Man Utd run wild. ‘Kiko’ Femenia set up three goals and scored one himself. He will want to up his game this upcoming season so he can get more playing time. Beattie scored much to the delight of the fans who now adore him after a bit of a shaky start at the club.

17/07/10

Man Utd 4-0 PSG - Ronaldo, Agüero(2), Silva

View attachment 40836

Again Man Utd decimated yet another opponent. David Silva claiming Man Of The Match with his two assists and overhead kicked goal. He was all over the pitch and afterwards Man Utd manager joked “ I hope he doesn’t get drug tested he must have been on something".

The Etienne Dufrain League was being played in honour of the French Socialite Etienne Dufrain. He was a legend in the capital of France donating to many charities and also a keen footballer often associated with Paris Saint Germain. The self made millionaire passed away earlier in the summer. His family organised this event saying that “even in his death he would have wanted to help charities“. All the proceeds from this competition will go to many different one he liked.
