Zzeezzy mate, I'm sorry bit are you never satisfied? You are bashing on our players player for the past 2 years. He has saved us god knows how many points and has topped a fair few of the GK stats. You say he should be filling his defense with confidence? How? Our defense is a mess before they are even on the field and bashed by every fan,, pundit and newspaper in the world. We can't go a game without an injury to one of them and we have no set Central partnership. How is any one person expected to get that sort of defense in line with a few words of confidence? It is silly you are trying to put blame on him.

Conceding 4 goals in a row to a newly promoted team with shambolic defending and players all over the place, no organisation there whatsoever at that point.

We needed a calm authoritative figure, somewhere, but it wasn't to be seen.

You also said that. Now the first bit you blame on shambolic defenders and players all over the place conceeding 4 goals but then blame it on the fact we have no so called authoritative GK? I have watched DDG a lot and is honestly one of my favorite players at United and yes he makes mistakes but all the **** he is getting now is because he was left wide open as a GK because of his defense. You can be the best GK the world will ever see but have a defense in front of you that has more holes than Swiss cheese you will only be remembered by their mistakes. Something you are guilty of doing.
If you insist on finding fault then put your focus on the true issue. The TEAM as a whole can not defend and constant injuries. Not a GK who is doing the best he can with a **** defensive unit in front of him.
Let us not forget that a good 95% of the legend GK's all had strong defenders in front of them, VDS with Vidic and Ferdinand, schmeichel with Stam Neville and Irwin in front of him just to name our great GK's.

Could DDG be remebered as one of the greats if he has Jones Smalling and Evans each of whom are injured for more than a third of our season? NO. Because he can't build a relationship with a defensive line that revolves faster than any other in the UK.

Kin **** the pace and power of west ham against our already soft defence. If one or two ain't back for the chelsea/everton games then rip our defence and goal net.

Sign 3-4 cb's between jan and next summer please.
 
Why didn't we sign another cb again? shocking planning imo we had three left after vidic/rio left and all 3 are injury prone and have been for 2-3 years.

LVG wanted Hummels, was not available that's why. He wont buy for sake of buying , he wants his targets.

So instead of getting someone who can do a job that could possibly save our defence like city did with demi and he ended up been a top signing we instead rely on injury prone and mistake prone defenders leaving us in the **** and now likely to panic in january for one.
 
Would be interesting to see how United get on against the stronger teams. Maybe they will push up a gear. Perhaps be the Chelsea of last season, taking points from the rich and giving them to the poor

LVG defo wont panic for one in Jan that's for sure.

We don'tseem to understand or know how to defend and have a shape against chelsea for example in a couple of weeks it could easily end 6-3 to cheslea.

Or he will go an buy said defender who can do a job in Jan....

He said he wanted to push the young defenders through. It's been 5 games. Not even half a season

Not sure about you but the thought of thorpe, rojo, carrick, fletch at the back against chelsea is scary, they will maul us plus we can't even do the basics right, seem to do zero defensive or team shape training.

And how would buying 3 defenders solve that? It's something that needs to be solved in training.
