Actually PSG are willing to sell they rejected out bid due to not matching what they wanted but main reason was it was Jan and still in the CL and chasing the title. He and the others you mentioned will all be available.

Marquinhos is 183cm tall. Thats short for a CB. And he never had the leap like Silva did to compensate for it. Even worse if he's going to be paired with Rojo. No physical presence in our CB, lovely.

Either one of those makes more sense than Marqiunhos.

You are seriously underating Marquinhos he is a monster in the air and has the potential to be better or as good as any other CB out there!

It really does not Laporte has been poor this season compared to last and Hummels the same plus his injuries. Marquinhos would be a great signing. And will defo replace Silva in the Brazil squad.

Unless we specifically want ball playing defender, I can not see how he fits in. And Hummels is better than him in pretty much every way. Laporte is having a meh season, but so does pretty much every Athletic player.

Whats the point of having a world class player ( cough Mata) if he doesn't fit in? And that if he becomes one.
Worst thing about him is his physical presence, not that much on the ground, but in the air he's weak. There's plenty of articles out there saying he's weak in the air. I watched PSG around 5 times this season, and Marquinhos played twice I think ( don't hold me on this one). He occasionally wins a aerial dual, but he lost at least every other. Thats not enough to make a judgment, I would agree. But he had the same problem in Roma.

LVG will most probs want a mixture in his CBs of both Ball Playing and strong Defencively. Marquinhos has both maybe not a pure or top class header of the ball, but not poor by any means. Every CB has there faults as there are no genuine World Class CBs out the bar Silva.

I'm definitely not warm on the idea of signing Marquinhos, but there are a lot of other defenders who are the same height who perform very well in the air. There are even shorter ones who still do well aerially, and taller who are worse.

With time he will improve.

Exactly Height is not the be all to be a top CB and Marquinhos will be one imo. Jose Gimenez is only about the same 183-185cm and he is a monster in the air for Atletico another we should be looking at. Heck Cannavaro was a midget :P

Yes there is, but the boy doesn't have the leap as well.
