The only thing Thierry miss out, was United and LVG don't have same quality of attacking tools as Pep had at Barcelona. So if United had either Ronaldinho, Neymar, Messi, Suarez, Henry, Sanchez, Pedro, Eto or Villa for their attacking tools they would be a lot better. Also not counting Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets control midfield with passing abilities. United boys not quite same in the class! are they.

But even if they had whole Barcelona team out there it wouldn't be as effective due to LVG being too strict and not allowing players to play. The point was that in last third allow players to do their thing. Even if Utd don't have same players likes of Martial, Depay and Mata aren't exactly bad players and would do a lot better with bit of freedom.

Not necessarily, Henry's point is more about how LVG's instructions seem to be restricting the attacking instincts/creative decisions of these players. Whereas Pep gives his players more creative freedom in the final third of the pitch.

I think the more poignant question from what Henry discussed on Monday is whether replacing LVG with Mourinho would make this issue discussed with restricting attacking players creative freedom any better? In my opinion no.

And Mourinho was supposedly seen at Carrington. I mean seriously. Jose may not ooze class and gentlemanly manners, but him and Van Gaal are good friends. I seriously doubt he would sit down to negotiate while LVG is still in the job.

Van Gaal's results are certainly disappointing, but he's an old man who's had a beautiful and fascinating career in this sport. He deserves better than this.

And the most amusing thing is - with all this idiocy they've probably managed to rally a lot of the fans around LVG again.

Haven't a clue what they wrote but it would of been absolute bottom dwelling from the Scum. Fair play to Van Gaal for telling the parasites of the British media corp straight like.

I like Van Gaal as a manager considering his past glory and how he always maintains class when talking about other managers (with obvious exceptions). I always had second thoughts on Jose, especially how he comments on every manager under sun.

At least for that reason alone I hope Van Gaal turns it around, if he fails then I hope we go for Jose as club will fall way behind if we keep on experimenting.

Jose will bring us no nearer to the type of football United should be playing, he is not the solution. Sticking with LVG is better than going for Jose.
