Safe to assume LVG is all but over now right, with comments like these?

Cancelled training yesterday and Giggs taking it today.

Maybe if you go out to Derby Friday that might be straw that breaks the camels back?

Could well be out of the frying pan into the fire with Giggs like and the season totally implode. But this can't realistically continue.

Can't be bothered to argue with you over the Glazers anymore, the fact that you're defending them baffles me.
.

Not my problem if you can't understand financial aspects of the club. Even blogger like Andersred who are very much Anti Glazer says how healthy United are financially and how the interest paid are negligible.

Idk what the point would be in even letting him be in charge for that game, ok we might scrape another win but does that mean all is fine n dandy again?

The time is well and truly now, if he is still in charge for Friday it doesn't surprise me though, gutless people on the board to make this decision, taken way too long already.

Also I'd be relatively happy with Giggs until end of season, not because I have high expectations but I just want to see some attacking football until end of the season and I don't think he can do any worse than LVG is at the moment.

Not saying much though because I'd take anyone over LVG at this point, games are unwatchable, results are dire.

The future doesn't look much better than doom and gloom. Our under 18's getting dicked by City 5-1 in their last game, lost something like 10 games in a row.

Beyond worrying times.

Let me get this straight, we put in a shocking performance against Southampton getting outplayed on our own turf and we're having two days off from training, yesterday and today according to James Ducker.

This is a ****** joke, after that result and especially performance they should be working ****** over-time not less time.

Yeah I think he might be on his way out. Shame it didn't work out, He's an older fella nearing retirement, this is his last job, you could tell how he enjoys being here and that he wants to go retire with a bang. Some things just aren't meant to be.

In any case, I doubt there'd be any hard feelings towards Van Gaal from the fanbase if he leaves. He's a fun character to have around. I wouldn't be shocked if "philosophy" and "it's a process" will continue to be used in fanbase slang for the next decade.

I agree, I want him out but have a huge respect for his career. His term with ManUtd is everything Van Gaal is not. His team is always very attacking and scores goals for fun, complete opposite of this team.

Martial as a 6 is ridiculous. He's pretty much the only reason why United games haven't become the world's most effective treatment for insomnia.

True, hasent been consistent, but he is still young.
But I think all can agree that best buy must be Schneiderlin.

Also one crazy idea. Really looking at the team and the gamestyle United fans demand. I can only come up with one name who could u give you long term, good football and development of youngsters.
That is Mauricio Pochettino. He dosent have any trophyes and so on. But has proved he can change the team to his style, invest in youngsters escpecialy in English youngsters.

Personally I dont want to see him go. He is doing wonders with Suprs and the future looks very promising if they can keep hold to players. But as a manager he would fit very well for long time. Can he be lured away with United history and money. Or he sees stability and future in Spurs.

I don't think the lads that that pay good money after bad to watch Utd week in, week out only to be bored shitless in return would exactly share those sentiments somehow.

Yeah, people naturally will down to the exorbitant fee, but I don't think it's fair to really try judge that purchase at all this year.

Kids been horribly put on way more than he should ever of been his first year here where he's been the main expectation for Utd most all year with very little around him. And he's been shoved wider because of his pace.

The end of next season will be a better indicator on that one.

That's probably due to all the better U18's playing in the U21's as the first team squad is too small to cope with more than 1 or 2 long term injuries (which is what is happening). You can't ask a 15/16 year old to preform at the same level as an 17/18 year old. The U21's are currently on a 5 match unbeaten run which includes a 3-2 win against Liverpool, 3-1 against Tottenham and most recently a 4-0 against Southampton (they also current sit 2nd in the table despite playing the fewest games). You cannot run a club with the minimum number of players in a first team squad and expect to get away with it in the Premiership. Something has to give somewhere unfortunately it is the youngest squad which is stuffering.

We've had similar but the other way round this year. The U'18's are flying and have some real talent for that age. But the vast majority of the U'21 side has been/ still is out on loan so it's been a very young, inexperienced team playing at that step up and results have shown.

Exactly can't expect miracles from young players.

What the holy **** is this nonsense all about? >.>

If that's true then there's only one natural outcome.

That's your CEO completely undermining your manager and his working relationship with him. Where's the trust between the two after that?

There's an out for him to resign.

Don't worry, that's not reported by the media so it won't be accepted. Being kneejerk and slagging off anything and everything is the trend. Anyone who has followed youth teams knows that our young players are very young playing with higher age kids.

For example, Fosu Mensah, Tuanzebe, Ro Shaun Williams, Brothwick Jackson are eligible for U18s but they don't play for U18s anymore.

Hilarious overreation by the obvious people. Looks like these people never had skip level meetings.
