They cant have egos, and they cant cost £50m

Now you are being silly, there is quite a difference to having an 'ego' and then being on the level of Zlatan.

Also why not £50m? I didn't say I would not buy Kane, I actually said I wasn't sold on him for a price like that.

Not really, because the hype around his ego is so overblown.

Exactly, you werent sold on him for that price, despite the fact that most players will be in that bracket. So hit us with your forwards better than Kane for that price.

1 Griezzmann
2 Lukaku
3 Reus
4 Aubemayang
5 Kane

Ok we can argue that 1 and 3 are not conventional strikers but they can fill that role and interchange with Martial/Rashford/Rooney for example. Also I really think having a player with the movement of Griezzmann/Reus/Aubemayang in that position would cause opponents a lot of problems.

Top 3 Manager choices

1 Pochettino
2 Jose
3 Blanc

I would put Simeone above Blanc but you know... realistically he won't join but I think he has achieved all possible at Atletico.

And all the talk of it comes from himself. And he makes millions off the back of it. Sometimes it's easier to just play the character you're portrayed as.

You can rule out 1 and three straight away for the CF role, when you look at what Jose apparently wants for that, but would fit the fast right winger role.

What Jose wants isn't necessarily what I want on my list though. XD

And let's not forget the original football playboy..

My dream 5 Jose signings (none of these will happen)

1) Zlatan (CF)
2) Aubamenyang (RW)
3) Saul Niguez (CM)
4) Laporte (CB)
5) Maksimovic (CB)

Hope we don't end up with John Stones as CB, but got a feeling we will.

Should clarify, my five is based on the supposed 5 positional players Jose wants.

Hasn't Stones gone completely off the boil?

Not seen Everton recently but not hearing much about him

He makes a lot of silly decisions and gives the ball away needlessly, his head clearly isn't right after the summer.

To be fair though as Mike says Martinez and defences.. they leak goals to say the least and at least all those things I mentioned like him being careless in possession/doesn't seem mentally right can be fixed fairly quickly under the right manager. He has been caught out positionally a fair few times as well, which I guess is part of the package in a Martinez defence.

Not the finished package by any means. But hard to really judge him under Martinez.

Harry Kane

The list of players to score 20 or more goals in consecutive seasons now reads as follows: Alan Shearer, Andy Cole, Robbie Fowler, Les Ferdinand, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Thierry Henry, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Carlos Tevez, Robin van Persie, Luis Suarez and Harry Kane. Kane is the first new English entrant on the list since 1996.
The suspicion that Kane would be a one-season wonder was not one of malice, merely a disbelief that a player could sprint so quickly from a standing start. Kane didn’t score his first Premier League goal until April 2014. Since scoring his first, Kane has managed 44 more in 70. It’s an astonishing record for a 22-year-old.
Should Kane reach 50 goals by the end of the season, hardly an unthinkable achievement, he will have reached the landmark in 86 matches (including his few PL games on loan at Norwich). A selection, by way of comparison:

Alan Shearer – 66 (matches to reach 50 Premier League goals)
Thierry Henry – 83
Luis Suarez – 86
Robbie Fowler – 88
Michael Owen – 98
Carlos Tevez – 126
Robbie Keane – 128
Robin van Persie – 142
Wayne Rooney – 146
Gabriel Agbonlahor – 184

Id say he's well worth 50m after reading this ...

1 Griezzmann
2 Lukaku
3 Reus
4 Aubemayang
5 Kane

.....

This list I kind of like. To tempt most of these, you'll invariably need to be in the Champions League.

If you're in the Champions League, the delusional Dutchman is still here.

See, I knew you'd come around to wanting to keep him zz! Good man! :D.
