The Manchester United Thread

Literally a game of 2 halves. City in control the first half and very comfortable but never actually did much with the ball. But Real was parking the bus and keeping things very tight so was to be expected.

Second half Real came out and started to control the game. Put more pressure on than City did in the first half but apart from 2 chances I can remember (a looping header off the bar and Pepe blasting the ball straight at Hart from 4 yards), City defended very well also and kept Bale quiet.

Kompany and Pepe both had excellent games. Looking at how the game went, I think it was Real's game plan to keep it very tight first half then try to nick an away goal in the second half. Almost worked for them but im sure they will still feel comfortable next week. Cant see them losing at home with Ronaldo back. City need to go and score, so will be vulnerable on the counter. Also Silva went off after about 30 mins with a suspected pulled hamstring.

Ta mate.

MEM reporting that Mendes was in Manchester last 2 nights and we already have signed 7 of his clients for next season.

Id takes James and Neves, maybe Joao Moutino but only coz he was amazing in FM12 and was my playmaker for years :p

Sanches is a Mendes client. Reckon 2 or 3 will be youth

Yeah Renato Sanches look like obvious option and apart from that can't think of anyone we are linked with. Linked with James months back but there aren't any stories about it.
