The Manchester United Thread

James? Do you really want to bring another south american primadonna after Di Maria?

It's no accident both Benitez and Zidane keep him benched, despite gigantic butthurt from the fanbase.

To be fair, it's not because he's a primadonna (he really isn't suprisingly)

Tactically he doesn't fit. He never did. Such an odd decision to buy him.

How does he fit into United?

You are talking about about Real here buddy, everything they do is odd.

Wouldn't mind Silva, Hames, Neves, Guedes, Jota, And that winger from Monaco or that DM from Valencia both have been good this season.

The tricky creative goal scoring right winger we want. Not lightning quick, but quick enough with excellent feet
He doeant strike me as creative nor tricky. And his pace is an issue.

He was the superstar of the World Cup. Thats the only reason they needed. Just a case of signing another "Galactico" like they always do. Not arsed about how these players fit into their team. Its just a global name to push shirt sales and push the fan base. Ive never known a club like it.

New trialist and likely new signing Belguim CB Groenvald was very impressive tonight scored and assisted in an 8-0 win over Burnley.

Mike tries to justify every signing (got to admire it) but signing James would be ridiculous and there is no justification as to what he would even bring to this side that we don't currently have.

There should be far bigger priorities than him but like I say, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if we signed him. Just like Stones, sadly.

Tbh I don't think we will sign him. Not a Mou type player ala Mata. It's a case of he and Isco will likely leave in the summer who shall we link them with.

He is very creative and is quicker than Januzaj who is quick enough. Would be a upgrade on Mata at 10 or RW if we were in for him.

I would hardly say he's quicker than Mata. He's prob as fast as Rooney is now. Upgrade? Sure. Do we need him? No, he doesn't fit it any more than Mata. Even in his dribbling compilations, he doesn't use his pace to dribble past. It's more of a change of direction, then pass or shoot. Mata does that as well, but James is better. We don't need a wide playmaker, we need a winger.

Read my post above :)

James makes no sense, meaning he's probably first on Woodward's list.
