I wonder how Charlton will react if/when Mourinho signs, considering what he's said earlier: "He's got a talent but maybe if he ever came here the philosophy of youth football might never be the same again."

He won't be pleased for sure but that's not something that should be taken into consideration when appointing manager as he didn't have any problem with appointing Moyes and he is supportive of Giggs who IMO is one of the worst human being to play for ManUtd or even football.

Tbh I think he needs to leave! And Charlton and Fergie should have nothing to do with decision making.
 
Di Marzio reporting that we have met Manolas agent and are ready to bid 40m euros. Would be a great signing!
 
Amoyal reporting the only stumbling block for Manolas is that Olympiakos have a 50% of the entitlement if he is sold before 1 Sept.
 
Only another 3 days until Madrid get the European Cup out of the way and then the to and fro on De Gea can start all over again.

That be fun all summer again.

Doubt that actually going to happen anywhere but the papers now. De Gea happy to stay now LVG has gone. Zidane has already called Navas the number one for next season

They should be more than happy with Navas the season he's had.

But then since when did that or a coaches wishes stop the megalomaniacs higher up at that club?

Yeah, I don't believe for a second that they've given up.

And speaking of belief, I also have a hard time believing that De Gea had a change of heart just because fax machine malfunctioned.
 
I'm not overly worried about De Gea, and I'm always a little surprised how fans of other clubs keep telling us this. If anyone is going to keep him it's a combination of Mourinho and Mendes.

Not been worried since he stayed last season. And even less worried now after what Zidane said about Navas and having Mou and his agent Mendes here. Plus he is genuinely happy here and clearly loves the fans and club.
 
I'm not worried about De Gea. Real Madrid is probably the only team that could of swayed him to move, and they seem happy with Navas, so might not try to buy him this summer.

And Mou coming in just sort of makes it more likely he'll stay.
