Which is why I've been begging for kroosYes, nor is Matuidi. You're not going to get an identical replacement for Pogba you do realise that?
If someone asked me right now what our midfield lacks I'd say creativity and someone with a really good passing range, unfortunately we didn't go for Pjanic, he would of been my choice but going for Krychowiak you have a player who is capable of filling in different roles effectively. Even though you could use him more as a holding midfielder he can do the box to box as well. He got a strong all round game.

Who is gonna pay that fee even in a couple of years time though? Madrid won't pay it now so I doubt they will pay 20-40m more few years on.Amoyal makes a very good point. The idea that this is the last opportunity Juventus have to cash in on Pogba for a huge fee is ridiculous. Said it a couple of weeks ago as well, give it a couple of years as his game matures and he can go for an even bigger fee.
If anything, the player they should cash in on is Bonucci. But as Mike pointed out, no replacements for him in the market. My guess is, they try hang on to both and make a last run to win the CL for Buffon and then perhaps sell them next summer.

Who would have thought United will be willing to pay £100m for Pogba a couple of years ago? With the direction the game is heading in commercially, you would not bet against someone stumping up an even higher fee especially if Pogba's game matures as it should.
How long does he have left on his deal though because that could be a factor? (Genuine question as I have no idea)
Unless Pogba drops off in form horrendously then how will his value decrease?
I agree with Alcaraz, he's 23, If he keeps playing well and Juve keep winning I just don't see his value going down while every other players value (or cost) is going up with all the money clubs are getting
2019
But that only works if clubs want to buy. If no one is willing to meet the price then it's moot.
In this case however I don't think Juve are looking for a bigger price. They simply want to keep him.
Lol well if nobody wants to buy him by then his value is irrelevant

If United are willing to shell out a world record fee for a still raw but insanely talented player, I think they and a few other clubs will gladly pay more for the finished article in a couple of years. I highly doubt that its now or never in regards to Pogba cash for Juventus.
It is if United then shift targets. United arent going to wait for forever for Pogba.
Pogba isn't that raw, far more accomplished than Bale was when he moved.
Jose wants him, now, not next season, not in two years. If he cant get him he will move targets.
