Schweini in 25 man squad for the EPL apparently!

And then goes and leaves him out the Europa League squad where you'd of thought if he had ant chance of a game it'd be in the slower pace of Europe and the groups.

With 27 players registered, that is bizarre. But surely hammers home the message to the German again he's done.

Live on MUTV.KO 12:30 pm.

McKenna's debut game so hopefully a good performance.

Chong and Burkart not available due to international duty.

16yr old English striker Idris Kanu who played for West Ham u23s on trial at the start of this season doing well is starting for Utds U18's today. On trial with us looking at a permanent deal this week.

I understand we have approached Stephen Hopcroft at West Brom. To bring in and play a part in the Academy restructuring. Been doing wonders at WBA last 2 years and is highly rated in England. Also read that we are about to announce some new South America coaches from Chile and Argentina. Good times ahead and great work going on in the academy!

1-0 great finish near post from Boonen from a Gomes through ball. Playing well against a good Bourough team. Kanu looks lively.

Good first half performance.Kanu looks good. Could do with snapping him up (he's currently free agent, don't know what happened to him at West Ham as he even played twice for their U21s last season as an U16). Gomes running the show. Boonen looking quality.

3-1 atm Kanu with 2 second half goals Boonen and Gomes with the assists. I would go as far as Gomes being the best 16y old in the world atm. Insane crazy good. Could easily step up and play for the u23s right now, even look confeftable at full team level.

He'll be doing well to lay claim to the best 16 year old the North West. If he's a better prospect than Ben Woodburn has shown already at both first team level the summer and the new U'23 league he'd be some player indeed.

4-1 Gomes with a worldie. Buffonge been great second half. Him Gomes, Boonen and Kanu playing some PES stuff.

Meh who cares ... Many of these so called great players at 16 ended up in non-league football in the end.

Do you mean who cares watching it or who cares comparing? Because with the chance of spotting a Paul Pogba or a Marcus Rashford early doors and watching them possibly come up and break through, makes it worth while watching. Besides, some of the football these young lads play is more entertaining than a lot of senior games tbf, fearless street-like football.

Oh, I'd keep an eye on that one. He's a natural playing among men.

Certain kids you see like Owen, Giggs etc just stand out and look footballers. Woodburns one of those guys. Outsranding pre-season. And so laid back with it. Scoring goals and just casually running back for the kick-off with little fuss like he belongs. Totally unphased.

Just out out of school like so there's absolutely no rush to his development. But Wales have a seriously top talent the making there.

Middlesbrough U-18's were unbeaten in 14 games heading into today, that run has come to quite the abrupt end

14 games huh? Quite the run at the up and down U-18 level.

I wonder if they've a smaller group with less International commitments etc to have a more settled XI game-to-game at Middlesbrough than the bigger clubs?

Unbeaten I 15 I think good finish by Buffonge to make it 5-1 in the end. Apparently Mc Kenna has made a huge difference in the few days he's been here working with the u18s. And I remember watching a game last season with Steve Howson from FTD and he was speaking to a couple of scouts from Cuty and Pool and they could not praise Gomes enough and both were saying they is nothing like him around in English youth footy for sure!
