I agree. But that was under a different manager. Have no idea why he is not playing or liked![/QUOTE]
If he's not good enough (which as a plain DM I'd take serious issue with), why can't someone like Herrera be converted with time on the training field and patience? Henderson had never played as a #6 in his career until Klopp turned to him after the Seville defeat and told him he wanted him there this year. And now he's playing as well as anyone in the Country in the role. Or TFM? Why not put faith in him and give him a shot?
BTW, how'd the Sunderland game end?
I agree Herrera could easily play that role. Great tactically, Good passing and work rate. And his defence side of his game is also good, and has been good playing deeper at times this season. Think TFM will end up at RB bit like how Mou converted Ivanovic at Chelsea. A lad I speak to and spends a lot of time at carrington, has mentioned TFM seems to always be there in certain training sessions.
We lost 2-0 to Sunderland. I don't expect us to win hardly any games at that age group this season. Real lack of quality except from 3-4 players. No wingers in the team except from Mitchel who has had bad injury problems and lacks fitness. And absolutely no STR either. Think there just waiting for next season to promote most of the u18s together.
