The Manchester United Thread

The same sky sources said 2 days ago we are going to pay the release clause for Gimenez from Atletico Madrid. As for Lindelof he's a good CB put not ready as of yet, would be another signing looking at the future and signing his potential.

I'd like Gimenez to be honest. But then we will still lack leadership at the back.

To be honest I can't help but think we could do with a proper winger, looking at our squad and todays lineup.

Potential to do what?
Run around with a bunch of millionaires looking like it's the first time they ever kicked ball together every week?

Jeez you're an old bundle of joy aren't you? Yes things are bad at the moment and there is a lot to criticise. But if anything the only positive I can take whole-heartedly is that we are playing better football than we have under LVG and Moyes.

Every PL club is full of millionaires, welcome to modern football.

Talk in Dutch media that Memphis is going to Everton on a permanent in Jan and they are going after Schniederlin also.

Talking of Everton, at least you've got them next Sunday so that should be a happier day.

They're in a real mess and they're split ion Koeman already with calls for his head! Good times.

That will be tough game at Goodison and plus despite all their faults they are still 6th so it's all O.T.T.

Evertonian's are always completely OTT on Everton good or bad but 6th is a very misleading position by all accounts. They're getting worse by the week and the situation there is getting ugly. They barely had a shot on goal today.

I don't know one that's looking forward to Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool the next three home games. They're scared shitless of getting a serious doing the Derby which is the only game they care about and get up for these days!

Honestly, we really need to start converting all the chances. It's starting to get tiring being the better side week in, week out and it not being reflected in the results at the end.

Cant wait for Mou to get this squad sorted and fill it with players he trusts. Playing nearly the same team week in week out in every competition is hurting us, as we visibly look worse/weary in the second half of games. To many players in this squad not being used! And it's costing us.

Why does this all seem awfully familiar?

This is not new to me.
Your posts on this forum reek of 'new fan' bullshit.
Clubs go through ups and downs. Fans who have seen it all just deal with it.
****** who have only known success throw little moodies and get laughed at by others.

Pick your toys up, put them back in the pram and get watching football.

Oooh oohh thats me.... :lol :) :)

That looks like players are being instructed to take a lot of unprepared shots because Mourinho got ordered to play offensive football.

How was I throwing the mood when you were moaning how we might sign 'another millionaire' to fix the problem in January? I believe I was just informing you that every footballer at the top level is a millionaire. It's a bit of a moot point, what do you suggest, we stick with Jones and Rojo?

Monday evening sees Reading U23s welcome Manchester United to Adams Park from a 7pm kick-off in Premier League 2.

Tickets for Monday’s fixture will be priced at £3 for for Adults with Concessions at just £1. Parking at Adams Park will cost £2 per car.

The Royals will be looking bounce back from last Wednesday’s narrow defeat at the hands of Bilbaoin the Premier League International Cup, that saw them take a two goal lead before the visitors managed to turn the result on its head.

Manchester United, who currently sit eighth in the Premier League 2 table, are only three points ahead of the Royals in the league, so Martin Kuhl’s men could have the chance to leapfrog the Red Devils with in the evening fixture and a big enough swing in goal difference.

And it wouldn't be out of keeping for our boys to get a good result against a big-name opponent - Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea have all been defeated by our boys this season.

Be nice for you if if Axel was pulled tonight for Wednesday but with the current manager the chances of that are sadly slim.

*Edit* Didn't realise Chelsea drew at City Sat'day. Excellent. Looking at either 2nd or joint-top (if Everton lose at Southampton), with a win over Derby tonight.
