The Manchester United Thread

You want a real laugh you should see the absolute meltdown happening on social media from stupid, to be kind, L'pool fans.

It's gone up a level from the last WAY OTT meltdown after Burnley.

Seriously, social media and the modern day, no patience football fan are just about the worst combination imaginable. And highly f-ing embarrassing in equal measure.

HATE social media.its like letting all the lunatics out of the asylum

try being a man utd fan in a family full of liverpool and chelsea fans.they are ripping me.it will come bak to bite them soon enough....i hope

After being 3-1 up, with 14 minutes to go and coasting, to then end up losing 4-3 (I still don't know what the heck happened to put that into words) to a very average, run of the mill Bournemouth side who thoroughly deserved the win today isn't the day for a L'pool fan to be ripping anyone.

What happened Scouse was somehow 3 goals were scored ;)

See I'm quite relaxed over today and not feeling half the fume many going WAY OTT are on this so I'll just say it was one of those mad, brilliant games of football that makes this game so special and why it's the most popular sport on the planet.

Frustrating and annoying to be on the receiving end of it like, but that's football. **** happens. Time to go on another 15 game unbeaten run.

*Edit* That said I'm glad I'm warm at home at not facing a long 4 hour or so drive home. Then I might not be quite as calm tonight lol.

At least you can chill unlike a Man City fan I know who is boasting how wonderful the team is when they win then how **** they are when they get turned over.

Sky generation 'fan' who's followed City since they discovered an oil well per chance?

Really, even in the games we win the defence has looked dogshit. lol. The personnel isn't there for the system at the back IMO, cant wait for the window.. :)

Going off watching Coutinho for Brazil the last few breaks, Jesus will give everyone a real boost when he arrives January. He certainly belongs the National team alongside Phil and Neymar up there. Looks a terrific talent.

He's a very intelligent player too. Will fit just fine in Pep's system.

It'll help, but Pep wants KDB/SILVA/GUNDOGAN/DINHO/AGUERO all in the middle of the park, hes' gonna have to shift Silva or KDB left at somepoint. With the high line he wants to play (but doesnt have the men for), and the way teams set up there are too many in the middle and it all pressed into one half.

I dont think the team is good enough to play in that space, but as we have dogshit fbacks and Otamendi, its 3-6-1 or 3-5-1-1 at the min.. ffs.

No one on the defensive side bar Fernandinho looks comfortable, I would include Stones as he's lumped with Ota and Korolov so the only defender in the 3, he should be the one being tutored and directed, not having to take charge and set the line..

I think Pep will def go after a defender in the summer. Thiago Silva would do wonders for you, he's running out of contract at PSG.

We're fav to land Van Dijk at the min. Which is a big improvement on Otamendi, and he can play with the ball as well, i'd be happy with him.

I would cry out for fb's in the summer, depending on the progress of Maffeo and Angelino for the rest of the year.

What? No. Slate them both if you're going to slate anyone. A sack of **** can't select itself you're right, but it seemed to be able to get into a ****** position and leave out a ****** foot nonetheless.

Hes already started talks for a new one.

Ill tell you what happened. You ve got 11 maybe 12 decent to great players and not much more. Matip wasn't there and Lucas was for example.

Or rather it was just 'one of them.'

Stick to losing your bet. Analysis isn't the game for you. :P.

Well, you do have a major issue with squad depth whichever way you look at it. Plus two calamitous goalies, thankfully!

*Reminds you Utd are one of only three teams the PL to not score past those 'calamities.'

Issues abound all over the big two. ;).

Forget the title. Forget top 4. This season is over. 9 points off Man City in 4th alone. Unacceptable. I don't care who's in charge and what the circumstances.
