The Manchester United Thread

Talk going round that Lingard is about to sign a new deal worth to be around 50-60k a week. Happy with that if true.

I heard him and/or his agent aren't happy with that offer, and want closer to the average squad wage (which wouldn't be a great deal more). Not sure if there's any truth in it.

Yeah read that in the mirror so can't see that being true.

I was jumping for joy when I saw mhki's name on the team sheet.

Very good team that! Great to see Bailly on the bench. Hope he gets a few games in before the AFCON has a good tournament, and comes back fit in on fire again like before his injury. Would usually hate losing a player, but I would rather him gather fitness there than come in and struggle for us and lose confidence. Rojo and Jones have been very good of late and Smalling is back training next week and Blind is ever reliable. We have enough to manage!

Glad to see Martial and Mikh starting. Today is a must-win. Any other result will be disastrous.

Think Mr. Luckhurst at the M.E.N. like Ander even more than me.

Herrera leading again
Herrera is properly geeing up Rojo during the warm-up. Maybe it’s helped improve the Argentinian’s impressive form but it’s another show of Herrera taking on the de facto leadership role he’s thrived in under Mourinho.

The intensity is too high, you mightn't see proper football until late in this half or even second half.

When is English football not? That's what makes it so unique and so appealing to the rest of the World. That's why you get wonderful, mad games like just happened at Bournemouth.

Nowhere near the highest quality league in the World but man is it the most exciting and the only one where every team gives everything EVERY game.

Yeah but Everton are really trying to get into our faces, more than teams usually do. Which is effective, not letting us have time on the ball to play.

I agree, most exciting league bar none.

Rojo should of seen red there!

Yep, definitely, shocking silly challenge, he knows full well. But so should Bravo against us, and Herrera should never of seen red against Burnley, so it happens. I'll only cry if it goes against us :D
