The Manchester United Thread

I agree with mourinho...you can't rest ibrahimovic but we have to sometime. I think we can beat Sunderland without him.

lol blatant slap in the face by rondon on rojo yet no red card.seems were not the only ones who get a bit of luck;)

Odd. I would've left rooney on and taken off ibrah. He 35 and needs all the rest he can get

Joking aside, these are potential serious injury fouls you're escaping. The two reckless dives from Rojo, and Ibrahimovic isn't looking at anything but Dawson running at him before he completely cleans him out.

Not pretty.
What's the difference between zlatan's challenge on Dawson and brunt's on rashford?

It annoys me when some people (especially pundits) suggest he doesn't do a lot for the team, just because he doesn't run around like a headless chicken. There's a lot more to this game than just running. His hold-up play and taking players into the game is nothing short of world class.

Another very good result, back-to-back away wins under the lights at Selhurst & The Hawthorns in 3 days, puts pressure on all 4 of Liverpool, Arsenal, and in particular Spurs & City tomorrow.

A welcomed clean sheet, more goals for Zlatan, and most importantly, another win.

see no reason why zlatan cant carry on for at least another two years but i am keen to see rashford given more time as a striker.were picking up momentum now and improving week by week.

Very good performance and win. 2 good victories at very tuff grounds under the lights. More goals from Zlatgod :) defo MOTM! Lingard was very good also along with Rojo and Jones. Keeping a clean sheet. The midfield controlled the game from start to finish. This teams really starting to tick and look good now.

COME ON YOU REDS (6)

Only Ruud Van Nistelrooy has scored as many goals at this stage of the season as Zlatan Ibrahimovic currently has, and that was 14 years ago.

A forceful shoulder barge verse a shoulder to the head. Foul verse dangerous play.

Nope. Not seeing a difference at all .....

Only saw from 76 minutes (crazy busy day), so don't have a clue how the game went. Save to say any win over a Pulis side (who apparently has actually been playing football of late as per a West Brom lad on the Wrap this week. I know, I was stunned too) is a good win regardless.

Both strikers both sides should of been straight red carded there. But WTF Anthony Taylor is doing still being given Utd games is anyones guess. With the absolutely stupid, to be kind, decision to award Mike Dean the Derby Monday, you have to SERIOUSLY question whomever is making these appointments.

Until we're back in first, there's little concern with whats going on behind us. The pressure if any is coming from Chelsea and keeping nicely in touch with them for the game the end of January.

I missed the game for christmas meal out with the family, how was Pogba? Really happy with the 3 points though against any Pulis side is difficult. Glad to see we are keeping our momentum going.

A good, solid, disciplined performance. Didn't quite get as forward as much as usual, but seeing as we got such an early goal, he was helping Carrick & Herrera manage the game for large parts... and very effectively.

Interesting from Mourinho to go from 'Carrick can't play twice in a week for the same reason I can't go to the gym everyday anymore' to plaiying him what like 3 times in a week? He obviously knows he's a huge player and massive part of that midfield trio. This could be our hardest job in years when it comes to replacing Carrick.
