Shaw has his injury worries, and Blind lacks the blistering pace. Evra brings leadership and he still has that pace.

Blind likely to also cover for Morgan too now

Only one player missing for United
And that’s Bailly.

not sure if anyone has heard but ravel morrison is training with wigan, managed by warren joyce who obviously knows of him.cant help but feel thats a massive waste of talent.hope he can geti it together and make a decent career for himself

This is where the quality in depth of our squad really kicks in. With cup games coming thick and fast, how many teams can call to a World Cup winning captain, and England's top ever goalscorer, as squad players to give others a rest?

I think we may have strongest squad in the league. Not the finished article by any means, but the options Jose has to rotate when he so wishes is ridiculous, even if he doesn't fancy some of them for whatever reasons. The fact he's still looking for further additions, just shows how high his bar really is.

A back up goal keeper who has been to major international finals for the last three summers in a row and only conceded 1 goal in six hours of gameplay in them is also quite useful depth to have

Oo, so it's looking like we're trying out a 4-2-3-1 once again. Carrick's going to have his work cut out with just Fellaini as a partner, but should be more than enough about this side to account for Jaap Stam's men.

Good team happy with the rotation. Glad Carrick starting will be rested for the Hull game and ready for Pool. Very happy with that front 4 maybe today is the day for Rooney to get that record. Expect to see TFM in the second half.

I'd have loved to see a 442 with Rashford & Martial up top just to see what they can do together.

What must Joel Periera be thinking? Out on loan doing fantastic in Portuguese league. Called up to the National team for next friendlies and named as keeper for Olympics. Brought back off loan and straight into first team squad. Must be loving it atm! Fantastic young keeper!
