If Marco Verratti is for sale, he's the man to replace Carrick.

No need to use any of the big boys that are on standby, give Fosu Mensah & Schweinsteiger a run out

Here comes Bastian Schweinsteiger!!
Thankfully none of the BIG boys are coming on XD

Really enjoy how Rashford likes to belt the ball in from a yard out

Also I'll still keep saying it for England: Carrick >>> Dier

Comfetable game 4 goals. Players rested, game time for Basti and TFM. Rooney or Martial my MOTM. Best run of results in 8 seasons :)

Yeah, was very comfortable alright. Glad Rashford got a couple.
Was an awful lot of empty seats around the ground. What the **** is wrong with the locals? It's Saturday for f**k sake?

Wasn't at the game. But a mate of mine said it was full for about 75 mins then it started to empty. Don't understand it myself!

It's also the first weekend in January after Christmas, people aren't exactly flowing in cash in Manchester on any given day, let alone post Christmas

Pricing has a big part in that. Reading got well skanked for between £37 and £45. (Reading to their credit subsidised all tickets down to £30.).

Scandalous yet again for Utd to expect people to pay that for a third round tie against a Championship side.

Yeah I'm not really concerned about what reading are paying, more concerned about United. Tickets should have been lower, but ultimately it's the first week after Christmas

Im assuming this thread wasnt meant to be closed?

(although it really should be : P)

Not very footbal fan friendly to not be concerned with what the oppositions paying Mike.

Ultimately effects everyone. Not least the FA Cup where home and away prices are the same. So with Utds bollocks forced auto cup scheme, season ticket holders are skanked whether they attend or not.

Under the new rules that have the home club setting the ticket price rather than an agreement with the away (Reading wouldn't of gone over the £30 they've subsidised to even though the gate is still split 45% each club the cup), the Glaziers have disgracefully taken the opportunity to rob everyone blind again. The time of year doesn't naturally help but regardless not hard to see why people wouldn't pay between £37 and £45 for a third round tie against a Championship side.

The FA have stupidly given greedy owners cart blanche to rob anyone blind with the change in ticketing rules this season and putting it all in the home clubs hands to set the price.
