Paul Pogba says Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has 'let him free' - BBC Sport

Pogba on Mourinho
"He talked to me. He made me very comfortable and confident," said Pogba, who made seven appearances for United before joining Juve for £1.5m in 2012.

"He said 'you know how to play, do what you want'. He let me free on the pitch.

"He told me just to enjoy myself. That is it. That is all I need to hear from the manager."

That's no surprise.

Can't help but be seriously impressed with Spurs every time I see them, which makes our victory over them all the more impressive. A good indication as to how good we are right now.

Spurs were pretty good today but you're the best team in the league right now. The West Brom deep block disintegrated today.

A very good read as always from Ste for you lads. Appreciate old school Manchester lads like him who just tell it like it is and know when you cut through the ***** there's very little difference between Manchester and L'pool lads. He loved the big ones of the 7 lads who tipped up above us the Europa league tie for example. Whilst everyone was getting all uptight he was 'fair ***** boys' as he understands that. Have to disagree with him on Smalling though one the podcasts I sadly can't link as it's a subscriber only. He doesn't want him anywhere near the pitch as he's always a disaster waiting to happen in his view. I want him out there as part your central defence EVERY game for that very reason haha.

"The outcome of the title won’t be impacted by this game because neither of the two teams involved are going to win it."
- So what, he has crowned Chelsea already? Even with the whole Costa speculation?

That Wanyama tap in header shocker. Still don't know how he missed that.

Looking very dangerous the past month. Had them down as finishing second the pre-season predictions on here as they were the most settled to challenge from the off.

See if they sack off Europe and the cup again. 'Spurs invariably gonna' be 'Spurs and mess up where you least expect it.

But it would've been a point more than they deserved. We controlled the game, the better side, and deserved the 3 points.

Edit: And fwiw, it wasn't an absolute shocking sitter. He should've done better, but wasn't a crazy miss. Not a whole pile better than the chance Zlatan had at Anfield to steal the points there. If you want to see a miss, check out Valencia vs West Ham.

Double edit: Watched it again, that was shocking from him. Haha.

Done before that broke. TBF he was steadfast the summer that Utd wouldn't be going from last year to challenging and there were stronger sides around than L'pool.

Imaterial now but of all the games Utds current run that one should of ended a draw. Flat game with neither side that much more dominant than the other.

But you ground out the win that's in the books so it's past.

Nah mate not having that haha. We made their defence, which you describe as a non-debate the best in the league, look like Sunday league defenders. At times, tore them to shreds. We frustrated their attacking players, forgot Kane was on the pitch due to our centre halves. Pogba could've had a hat-trick; could've put us 1 up after a minute, hit the woodwork with a superb effort, forced a good stop from LLoris. Zlatan had a great chance, another top save from Lloris. Best they could force was a few set pieces from Eriksen, I think even Spurs fans would tell you they deserved to beaten on the day. In fact, 1-0 probably flattered them.

Even Tod didn't see it that way and he's as homer enthusasistic as they come toward Utd on here.

But everyone sees games differently. Be pretty boring if we didn't.

Your memory is getting very selective. Both then and subsequently when it's come up between the two of us.

But again, it's imaterial as Utd won the game. Ridiculously pointless discourse this.
Not really I just read the exact post saying we are tearing them to shreds. But hey whatever. Who you gonna start with tomorrow?

The last thing I want to spend the evening doing but I can go search if you're 'not really' sure on our discussion and your agreed view?

Absolutely frigging stupid this for a game you won a good few months back.

*Edit* Dunno' but it'll be a team sent out to win.
