Not great on the eye by any means, some lazy passes in the final third that were made look worse by hungry Wigan players who won majority of second balls, and are set up brilliantly by Warren Joyce. But at the end of the day you have to be realistic, this is what you get 90% of the time when playing lower league sides, especially when they're playing Manchester United, a lot of these players would regard it as the game of their life. It's never going to be as easy as "you're playing a championship side, smash them 5-0", in truth it's probably easier playing a mid table premier league side who are less disciplined and more adventurous. We stayed patient, mixed it up a little, got the goal, job half done.
Think this game is crying out for Rashford tbh.
