The Manchester United Thread

That was absolutely devastating. Ronaldo/Rooney counter attacking-esque.

Schweinsteiger been absolutely amazing today IMO.. started of badly first 15-20 mins but been really good today!

I am so happy I could cry now... I know It's just Wigan but my God, I needed this win in my life!

Thing with Martial is, when he's half arsed, there's no FB in the league that could stop him. When he's playing with confidence, he can do whatever he likes. Great talent.

What a game! Perfect day 4 goals 2 assists from Martial. Shaw back with a solid return grew into game. Debut under Mourinho for Joel and Tuanzebe who had a good 16 mins. Fellaini with a crucial goal. More great play from Mky. MOTM performance from Schweinstiger bossed the game goal and assist, and proved he can deputise for Carrick when he needs a rest. Happy days! Come on Mourinho red army (6)

In the end, quality prevailed. Turned into a good day at the office, once again the strength in depth on show, in which in my opinion, nobody in England can match.

8 goals in 2 games with and into the 5th round with ease, that on top of a date with Southampton at Wembley already booked, and let's not forget a very winnable Europa League draw. Slowly and quietly shaping up to be a pretty exciting season even though the league has proved tricky. :)

Martial is definitely in his best position on the wing.
Yep. Always has been even at Monaco. Not saying he can't do a job upfront now and then but he is just class on the left as an IF. Once him and Shaw get playing consistent together OH BOY!

Mourinho has a dilemma to work out with our GK situation we are getting stacked and with quality also DDG, Romero, Johnstone, Joel, Henderson. Not to mention Sebatoui and Foijeck in the u18s. Me personally would sell Romero and Johnstone and have Joel as second choice and Henderson as third. Romero and Johnstone are to good and to old now not to be playing regular!

Romero seems very content on sticking around and being #2 to DDG, and I suppose why wouldn't he; not affecting his international place, getting a good paycheck, and more than ready to fill in when needed. I'd actually sell Joel perhaps, too much potential to be sitting watching DDG for the next 10+ years.

The Argentina national coach has told him he needs to start playing if he wants to keep his place. I agree about Joel to good to be doing that. But you never know for sure DDG will stay. Hope he does and think he will but you never know. Joel would be a good replacement with huge potential to take his place on the off chance DDG does leave.

Could of been a lot more if not for poor finishing!

Manchester United have scored 4+ goals in a game 6 times in 36 games under Mourinho, 2 more than they did in 103 games under LvG. #MUFC

He's United's best u-21 talent. Must not sell. There are few young wide-forwards better than Martial.
