The Manchester United Thread

I forgot to comment on the build up to mhki's goal...seeing martial and mhki combine on the break like that reminded me of the good ol' days when Rooney and Ronaldo were tearing **** up

Fecking rediculous is what it is! Like him or not, but get behind the club you support no matter what! Fans should be embarrassed by that ****!

I have to disagree about that. If somebody is demonstrably **** and setting your beloved club back he should be called out at the very least. Imho THIS is what supporting your club entails. Not sitting idly "getting behind your club" watching it being driven to the ground. Calling idiots out IS getting behind your club.

If anything that banner should have been flown earlier.

I'll lay good money a lot of older match going Mancunian Utd fans were highly frigging embarrassed by that.

Doing that whilst a games going on is not that way to go around it.

Its not doing anything apart from making us look like a laughing stock! No matter what fans to demonstrate there anger at a manager won't influence the clubs decision at all to sack him. The only thing that will is fans boycotting games and effecting revenue. A stupid plane banner will not. Embarrassing!

Still can't believe people would go to the lengths of paying all that money for **** like that regardless of anything else. Laughing stock isn't the word.

Certain things you just don't do.

Never forget a game down at Tottenham the start the '90's, when things were real bad under Suness, and some Southern lads unfurled this banner on a bed sheet 'politely' telling him to F-OFF out the club. Uproar ensued. Punches were exchanged. The banner came down in no time. And the lads angriest at them were sick to the back teeth of the manager. But that's not how you behave at the game.

There was a ******* Wednesday the ground I had words with who was constantly narking at Sturridge. Like how the F do you think you or anyone else audibly groaning and ******** at the lad is going to help his confidence and raise his game? And players know and can hear what's being said. They're still human regardless of the money. Booing's another touchy subject. Most Liverpudlians don't like it at all. I personally have no problem with that at the end of a game if it's warranted through lack of effort or a sustained run of absolute *****. But NOT during. Completely detrimental to the team on the pitch.

You want to protest against a manager/ owners whomever? Stay back and do that at the end of a game. Do it outside. Notify the press. Do whatever. But DON'T do that whilst the games going on. How anyone doesn't think that's not detrimental to proceedings I just don't know.

As this is a Utd thread, you lads singing about L'pool most every frigging game you play. (Made all the more ironic when your captains a Scouser. He must get narked at that to himself.). I know that goes right through a lot of long standard Mancunians who cringe with embarrassment. But a lot of the knobheads who come from all over don't have a ******* clue. Another example of complete wool behaviour that shouldn't happen unless you're playing us.

And I'm not all for blind support regardless. That's a two way streak and the players and manager have to play their part. But theres ways and means of how you go around things and whats acceptable and what's not.

Most fans today just have no standards or idea and just turn your club, Utd or whomever (and we have our fair share of absolutely clueless, embarrassing Sky generation morons from all over), into just A N Other generic fanbase.

Drawn away to Blackburn, not bad

Understatement of the year. Couldn't of hand picked a better tie for an easy progression the quarters.

Club in complete free fall headed to League One in a half empty ground still protesting about absolute shitbag owners who Christ knows what they're playing at sat in India refusing to talk to anyone whilst Rovers get's run into the ground.

There really should be more National media attention to what's happening there. That's one of the founding members and a backbone of the football league for over a 100 years on the verge of going the wall we're talking about here.

U23s lost 3-1 against Everton. No surprise really. Kehinde and Mitchell were class. Joel saved a good peno. Tuanzebe and Warren made clangers that led to 2 goals. And was good to see Bailly back!

******. That leaves the blue sh*te 6 clear with 6 to go.

They win the U-23 league they'll be having a parade from here to Rhyl and we'll NEVER hear the end of it!

Looking a great night for us and City with Arsenal, Spurs, maybe Liverpool dropping points.

A win tomo put us level with Liverpool. I thought we'd slipped waay further back than that. You'll only be 2 short of that as well. (with a win). Its a funny random *** season.

Martial had 2 incredible assists, many dribbles, created many chances and our best player against wigan. But you know, drop him for hull. Lmao, some of you lot told me I was a troll when I said Jose had an agenda against martial? You still believe that, so clear he has an agenda. How pathetic is that? Besides mkhitaryan, who has been in better form and a better player on the wings? None lmao. Rashford is terrible on the wing, lingard is so so bad and young lmao. How stupid are you mourinho, portugese senile pragmatic idiot.
