The Manchester United Thread

Ya think? Unless Arsenal put a run together I don't see it changing at all. Save for maybe the positions within that 4 currently. I's a complete mystery to everyone how such a limited Everton side is 7th. (Save for the league not being strong.). And Utd never have been a threat as they can't beat a top 6 side to save their life and have 4 of them left.

That 'race' has run it's course.

The points are pretty close and entire top 5 is inconsistent atm.

Remember the last time Mourinho savaged a player in the press for his work ethic and professionalism? Look at where that guy is now. Its not like he is a key player for an elite European team under a world-class manager after earning a big money transfer last summer. Oh wait ...

To be fair he did the same with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and he's not really got anywhere has he under Lord Conte?

I'll judge at the end truely of the outcome, so far today Shaw has been great so he may of pulled a stroke of genius, it's really too early to tell.

Never a red, not even a yellow. Both went for a 50-50 ball.

It's literally like "One controversial decision for you this week. One controversial decision for them next week".

its because there is so much confusion over the rules nowdays,so much inconsistency regarding the rules,it puts so much pressure on refs

It's a red card tho. I don't see much controversy there.

Whether or not it is, the opinions are very split. Which makes it controversial.

Personally, I think if he connects with that high foot, it's a potential leg breaker. As soft as it was, it's not as if he's been living under a rock while the game has been evolving, he should know better than to lunge in that high. He knows you can get your marching orders for it nowadays. Brainless from him to give the ref a chance to show the red

If that's a red than Pogba should see red as well. I'm fine with punishing potential dangerous tackles even if nothing bad happened, but refs need to be consistent.

Pogba's perfect example of a player who has "dwells on the ball" trait.

At one point in the 90 minutes He kicked the ball though?
Which means He totally bossed the midfield ;)
