No way is henandez leaving!! Think there is a good chance of us getting modric, and dont know much about this chilean we suppose to be signing!

IF it was Lewandowski coming in and Hernandez leaving it would be a no brainer for me. Lewandowski has a lot more to his game than Hernandez who is pretty one dimensional to say the least.

If one dimensional equals putting the ball into the back of the net then by golly, sign me up 4 Hernandez!

Do you disagree with his assessment of one-dimensional Hernandez?

But what does Lewandowski adds other than what we already have? We have Welbeck who is superb young player and is improving every week, other than that Hernandez is ready to play impact sub role or bench role and with Kagawa we will play with lone striker most of the games.

So Lewandowski signing is just a waste of budget, we can just keep Berbatov if we need 4th striker.

Welbeck linkup play is just superb and he is improving even physically, so wasting 15 odd million is not the wisest of choice, we can use that to sign a midfielder.

Ask yourself this.. why did Welbeck become first choice, he has more to his game and links up the play better. Hernandez can put the ball in the net, which is one of the most important things, but having Hernandez in the team was not for the best of the team, if that makes sense. Welbeck was linking up with other players, formed a great partnership with Rooney.

Hernandez is a poacher, more of an impact sub when you have someone like Welbeck who is getting better with his finishing and has more to his game as well, linking up other players within the team etc.

This debate is a clusterfuck. Everyone seems to be in agreement, yet still arguing.

Bizarre, everyone is actually on the same lines.

Regardless, waste of time, effort and money to sign Lewandowski.

Anyway, 15 milions? Where did that even come from? After his last stellar season, whacking hat-trick past Neuer, and still 2 years in his contract, you'd be looking at twice that, imo.
