Modric will leave this summer i think that is something we do all know. He stated last year he wanted to come to Chelsea as he wanted to stay in London so that put City and Utd off but Spurs didn't let him leave. This summer i expect it to be the same sort of scenario, Chelsea trying to get Modric only this year Spurs will have to find a replacement so that may very well be Moutinho. Utd may miss out on both.

Some source say enquiry already made by fergie, would be quality signing for us think if anything going to happen on transfer front will be soon coz fergie likes to do buisness early and take players on tour.
There is no real interest at all in us with Moutinho, it is pure rumour because he had an impressive Euro's and it is a position we have not filled for a few seasons now.
Why would we wait now to get Moutinho when hopefully we have been aware of him for a long time? Going for a player like him now all of a sudden would be a bit of a stupid move, price will be inflated after this Euro's, I hope we have better scouts than that.

Agree plus modric will cost to much for united imo.
Couple of things.
Modric has a perference for London, but that doesnt stop him moving to United, after all he would have been on his way to Madrid were it not for Sahin.
Seconly United have been tracking Moutinho for years, Ferguson is a long time open admirer and Moutinho knows this. He would be a focal part, so United have more than what it takes to beat Spurs to him. And beat Chelsea to Modric.
People seem to have forgotten that United met the £32m fee for Hazard. You can bet they will do the same for Modric

Alright mike do you think fergie will try and get buisness done early again this season, or bide his time for the right person/price if he has not already decided?
Early, it's always as early as possible, he likes his players in for pre-season.

Thought so despite all rumours and bla di bla he must surely have made enqiries for players and even be more advanced talks already, i only think this coz dont we go on tour like 16th/18th something like that.
We always have stuff going on in the background. We tend to have the talks first, then go public.
I did see some reports linking us with Axel Witsel, this would be the second-fiddle option to Fellaini though I think, both similar players though to be honest and would definitely add that "bite" we have been lacking in our midfield.

If Fergie picks up Baines then he isn't getting Fellani, purely as losing Fellani likely means no Moyes as he'll explode in frustration, and losing Moyes is a bigger hit to Everton than both Fellani and Baines in my opinion! Of those three, probably Defour if he wants the cheap option of Moutinho. Probably a lot going on behind the scenes as Fergie knows he needs to step it up as both domestic an European competition will be tough.
He did send him a get well card when Defour broke his leg or something. But that was when Defour was at Standard Liege. Defour is now at Porto with 4 years remaining on his contract. Probably not going to go for him. Which is sad because I like Defour

In an interview today fergie said when asked about transfers that they will be more signings this season this is something we are working on but nogatiations are slow behind the scenes, so cant really asy anymore, and dimi berba will be going on tour with us and is still a united player and was unlucky not to get more game time last season. Interesting, he is normally very vague on transfers. He must really be chasing someone.

In fairness you thought our business would be over after Kagawa.
Exact same answers he gave last season and season before. But always great to hear that, to get hopes up in transfer window.
But I believe this time we are negotiating and that too for a CM and LB(Moutinho/Modric and Baines).
