The Manchester United Thread

If he played in Serie A we may well have seen him play.

Portugal, I'm sticking with the mystery man.

His name really isnt that hard to spell FFS

Also its not been that hard to watch Benfica. Its on BT Sport

Yeah but how many people actually do? I'd venture the percentage of people watching any league outside the PL, Bundesliga, La Liga or Serie A is a small percentage in relation.

You see it with most players who a club buys when suddenly everyone's an expert despite never seeing him play. L'pool signed Lindelof I wouldn't have a clue if he'd upgraded on Lovren or not until I actually seen him play. Same Keita if that patience pays off. I've seen him exactly once. And I wasn't even watching Leipzig for him. I was just catching Dortmund.

Don't know, don't care tbh. The point being is that its not hard to watch players like him, Benfica get plenty of exposure, as so Sweden

Yeah get lots of Portuguese footy on BT. It's one of the reasons I pay for it as BT have a lot of footy Sky don't show. And have highlight programmes during the week, from different leagues around Europe and SA.

If only Uefa Champions League was as much on TV as Serie A, maybe then you would see the mystery man.

Amongst all the chat of Fabinho/Matic.

What if its not 1 or the other, what if its both?

that would be great, fabinho is quite versatile so capable of playing in a number of positions

I'd still prefer Fabinho by himself. Not interested in helping out a title rival with such a massive transfer fee for a player that's past his prime.

He's nowhere near past his prime, and he's an excellent Carrick replacement.

Tbh regardless, I am still mightily ****** that we continue to sell players to United after they completely shut us down on Rooney few years ago. Also Matic is a good player so god knows why we like to strengthen direct rivals. Nonetheless, it does look like we replaced Matic with a younger and more multi-dimensional player with a little spare change on the side to boot so thats the positive I suppose.
