@Scouse
We'll make top 4 easily, maybe even win if we can get pogba and herrera dominating midfields

Lets not try and take anything for granted in this league. Top 4 is far from easy for any team now. Sure it's good being confident, but how can we really make statements like that? We were 6th last year.

That'd mean either 3 at the back or a double pivot and Pogba playing alpngside matic

Yeah, I love seeing Pogba in a double pivot. Think that's where he's best, with a lot of players ahead of him to spray those passes to!

As he said, it's no longer a given for ANY side now with the 6 top teams all on a similar level. 4 into 6 just doesn't go.

At least 2 have to miss out every season.

We'll just have to wait and see Mourinho do his magic now, won't we?If Arsenal let Sanchez go, they're pretty much out of it by Feb, which leaves us to fight with Pool, Spurs, City and Chelsea, I expeCt the trophy to go to either chelsea, us or City with whichever squad out of pool and Spurs runs out of gas first missing out on top 4.

That also means Herrera becoming basically Pogba's back up.Also, Rashford and Martial both wouldn't play much that way

Pogba - Herrera have shown they can play together in a pivot, also it's a tough season with a lot of games, think Matic and Herrera could use that competition and/or rest

That's fair, but we'll have to offload both Mata and Lingard to reduce clutter.If that happens, it could work(next year, not this year)

really dont see the value in predicting who will be here next season,better to focus on this year first!

Pretty sure they can all have their role in the team and be useful, PL has become a lot tougher and you need that competition for positions if we're to fight for all titles?

Is transfermarkt reliable for injuries?If yes, Lukaku is rarely injured and will be undisputed starter if fit, sothat might be a problem, otherwise, fair if Mou can be Zidane-like in terms of rotation

Top 4 is almost like an invisible cup now, as much as we've taken the **** of Wenger over the years for saying similar things. We aim for 1st, and if we fall short, then hopefully not more than 3 places short.

Looks like we're definitely going 3 at the back vs Madrid in the Super Cup then.

It's the kid I feel sorry for having to go along with what his absolute *** of a father does. He'll get ripped to F back at school.

Anthony! They're one of yours. Having a f-ing word lad will yer! Cringeworthy embarrassing beauts.

Played very well. Broke up attacks, showed some leadership qualities (instructing players), tidy passing and just looked right at home. Just a friendly, granted, but encouraging considering it's his first minutes of football all summer.
