Yeah agree. But the spend wouldn't be that outrageous. Especially if we sold Fellaini and one of Jones or Smalling. Say 15m each maybe bit more for Smalling. 100m so far, 40ish for Matic, 45m ish for Perisic, 15m Matuidi, 20m Auier. Still less than 200 inc Rooney fee. And shed loads saved on wages. Players sold in Jan.

Yeah I couldn't care less about the price tbh, if Mou wants them and it's possible, let's do it!

Its not fake it's real. Ducker, Di Marzio, Ogden, BBC all suing it's done and had his medical today. Fantastic DM signing! 40m in today's market is a very good price for a player of his Calibre and quality. Welcome Nemanja :)
 
If I had to guess, I'd say he was 2nd choice. Dier (*cringes* - thanks for the rejection Levy) 1st, Matic 2nd, Fabinho 3rd. Fabinho could've been got quite easy (as far as "easy" goes in the market) so I'd imagine he was below the PL pair.

Not sure if Nainggolan was a serious/realistic target, just a dream acquisition.

So even though he may not have been 1st choice, we ended up with the classier player (compared to who I think was 1st choice)

Yeah just reading now Dier was first choice very early on. Then changed to Matic as Poch didn't want to lose him. Think we got the better player anyway! Put me in an even better mood before the friendly in a bit :)
 
We have a big season ahead of us.
Anybody who doesn't think Matic will strengthen us needs their head checked.
