TFM looked good tonight on his Dutch debut. Gonna be a great successor to Tony V. Just needs a bit of work from Mourinho. Blind was solid. Pogba ran the midfield.
 
Great fun watching everything go pear shaped for everything else while being perfectly happy with the squad

He can actually go that way often enough, as more times than not, keepers will try second guess him; ''Maybe he'll go to my right now?'' - It's all mind games. So long as it's hard & accurate enough, he should score more times than not.

Was it Ruud that used to put a ridiculously high percentage of his pens to a certain corner? Did it with pinpoint accuracy & ferocious power though?!
 
Very happy with our window and squad. It's good to go into a window with a clear strategy. And a manager that is great at spotting what the club needs to challenge for the top honours, and building a team. No more scatter gun approach we've had the last 3 years before Mourinho.

Brought in a top young prem proven and one of the top scorers in the league last couple of seasons, who brings so much more to our attack. Resigned one of the greatest STR and proven goal scorers of this time. Not bad for a back up ;) Kept the best GK arguably in world football, after many thought he was a gonna. Looks like will stay for a while now. Signed the key missing part a top draw DM that has completely given our team balance either in a 2/3 man midfield. Also unleashing Pog beast :) and will be vital in letting both FBs bombing on now. And has completed the spine of the team. Shaw now available, will be like a new signing. Please be the player we know you can be. If he stays injury free, will have one of the best FBs in Europe very soon!

Signed long term partner for Bailly in Lindelöf who will be fantastic no doubt. Will likely have a season like Mkhytarian then slot in next season as starter. Got a great loan for TFM who is starting week in week out, honing his skills to come back as Valencia Long term successor. Now being recognised by the national team coach and playing for them now.

And Periera coming back off a fantastic season a new mature player. No more attitude, and no more lack of work rate problems. Delighted Mou blocked his loan move and rates him. Will get mins during the season no doubt. Same goes for Tuanzebe. Mourinho really building a young hungry squad that can challenge at the top domestically and in Europe, with a sprinkle of experience. Buzzing for this season!

Kind of happy, would of liked a winger, but considering we kept Pereira it's not all bad.
 
Not at all bothered about a winger. More concerned with seeing what Shaw can do, and then responding if necessary in January

Really pleased with the off field movements since last season also. Completely revamp the scouting network around the world, while signing some of the hottest talents in Europe. All youth sides should be stronger than last season. Which ain't bad considering out u18s were already blowing teams away scoring for fun. The u23s will be a **** of a lot better with a more balanced squad and a new manager in Sbragia who has done wonders before and in his time away from the club.

Also Mourinho has revamp and restructured the coaching staff in all departments. Looks like he's setting the ground work for a long stint here. Can only be bad for the rest of the league.

Meh not fussed about a winger. Let's see Shaw start ripping it up again :)
 
I'd like Mourinho to stay here for a long while, but sadly, in this modern age it is incredibly difficult.

Plus, things are going relatively well atm, it's when things start going sour that Mourinho's attitude might be tested.

Yeah I see what your saying. But let's be honest we run things in a completely different way to Chelsea and Madrid. Won't get no interference from the Glazers or Ed. Look at Inter yes he want there long, due to his ambition but least he was happy and left on good terms same for Porto. Think he's happy and can basically run the football side of things how he wants and will get backed financially. And on and off the field.

He either has to make them more accurate or vary it more, think if you discount the one against an amateur GK since the start of 2016 he has scored three and missed three. His one vs Leicester and Us in the FA Cup were both at decent heights for the GK and not in the corner

Danny Drinkwater's move to Chelsea now means that 11 Premier League clubs have a Manchester United academy graduate in their squad.

Nowhere prepares them like Carrington.
