The Manchester United Thread

He's interested in trophies though, and so are the fans. Also, if they're good enough, they'll play. i.e. Rashford.

Tuanzebe, McTominay etc. will get minutes this season in cups, but trying to keep inexperienced youth happy won't get in the way of us trying to win the league! And so it shouldn't. Their days will come. But the first team is the most important, that's football, that's how it will always be.

He could hardly not play Rashford. You'd nobody else behind Zlatan.
Tuanzebe McTominay and Fosu Mensah all got time in the first team, and he still showed for faith in youth than most managers, I would bet that Tuanzebe McTominay and Fosu Mensah got more time than all L'pool teens combined who only played 256 minutes

Aww mate. Seriously. Don't. I added a throw away comment with a messing smiley.

Don't go down the road of pushing this or Mourinho's record on youth will get slaughtered and this will get ugly.

Let's all go back to laughing at Arsenal and save that for another time.

Can someone check in with Zz? Make sure he's alright? Better be safe than sorry.

Season long loan, no buy option, and he signed a 1 year contract extension at Utd.

United with the option of bringing him back in Jan too

And I read they have paid us 4.5m for the loan :O

Considering Liverpool got 6m or something for Origi, it's still not that great. Plus in the context I'd rather have him available to use than someone else.

Most created chances of any U23 player in La Liga last season, we all know he can do it there. Would of liked to of at least seen what he can do in PL. Two totally different leagues.

Yes Valencia has it's advantages, but the competition for places is just as stiff there, plus someone said to me dunno if true they play a 4-4-2 and only open spot is LW where they play a LB. Which is odd if true, because he won't even be getting in his preferred position.

They play 4-2-3-1. I'd have preferred home to stay. As did Jose, but clearly he really wants to play every week. We've extended his contract and we have a recall clause for January. Valencia is probably the best place he could be if he's not at the club. He needs to be playing regular good level football. And Valencia are playing well again

I guess he just didn't make Jose's list of young players.

Watched the Sweden and Holland games last night both Blind and Lindelöf were fantastic! Both getting assists and candidates for MOTM awards. Also good to see Lukaku banging in the goals.

Have to say Sweden had a really easy game to be fair.. but Lindelöf was great. His long passes was on point!

I can add to a Utd player on International duty as I watched the game. Pogba was as disinterested and P poor as the next Frenchman against the 'mighty' Luxembourg. Thinking they only had to turn up to win had that arrogance bite Les Bleus HARD on the ***!

Won't affect their qualification like but a highly embarrassing non-display which deserved the loud boos the end in Toulouse. (First time in over a Century they've failed to beat Luxembourg and the first ever draw between the two Nations.).

Pogba's out the next qualifier BTW after a needless booking but as it's a back-to-back end the qualifiers he'll doubtless still get called up.

That France game last night reminded me of a few United games last 1-2 seasons. :'(
