The Manchester United Thread

Trust me, on tonight's performance you won't have that much to worry about. We have no drive or passion. We're gutless right now and I have no idea what Keoman was thinking but he needs to get his head out of his backside and get things sorted out now. We're playing damage limitation now and everyone from the players to Koeman are to blame.

And on a sidenote Koeman is 33/1 to be the next manager to go

If he is losing the dressing room, that 33/1 is huge and worth any man's loose change.

What's people thoughts about the Ozil stories last couple of days, coming out of Germany. Kicker, SportsBild both reporting he wants a renuinon with Jose next Summer and saying he's the best manager and played his best footy under him?

Wouldn't want him if I'm being honest, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong. Class act on his day, it's getting him on his day is the problem. Also think he's declined physically.

He'd be a brilliant free signing. And we have the midfield platform he craves.

The only way you sign Ozil is in the 10 in a 4-2-3-1, he's been wank for ages on the right for Arsenal. Would much rather keep what we have in Mata & Mkhitaryan (who between them offer what Ozil does and more tbf) and splash the cash on Griezmann who will want to operate in that similar role. More pace, more goals, less likely to go missing when we need him.

That only works on the assumption Griezmann is arriving

Wish we made a similar move to that of Liverpool with Naby. Still think he's our signing to lose.

I remember Mourinho absolutely bollocking him over his work rate, what has changed in that regard? Sure we have a better foundation behind him, but I still don't want a lazy ****** like that in our team.

Ok he isn't totally to blame, but man, he really doesn't help himself a lot of the time.

For me even though it's a free, I'd pass on it... don't think we need him or his personality in our squad.

I would take him on a free. Personally think it would be a similar case to Matic. Change of scenery and all that, under a world class manager who is building something. At one of the biggest clubs in the world. Think he would return to his Madrid form. If it was a choice between him and Griezmann. Be the latter every day. Or just sign both :)

Özil for Real Madrid was one of my favourite players in the world at the time. I'd take him!

Mourinho has confirmed Shaw is now in contention for the first team. And Pogba has a muscle injury, and won't know till after the weekend game when will be fit. Also Rojo will be out 2 more months.

BALLS!!! :'(

Manchester United v Everton 16:00 on Sunday.
Dublin v Mayo All-Ireland Senior Championship 15:30 on Sunday.

Oh crumbs. Quite the dilemma. Guess you'll be recording the Utd game and going on social media/ all telephone silence to watch it after the final without knowing the result.

That hurling is one tough *** game.

United have chosen to enter the PL Cup this year?

Good. Another Category 1 Academy adds to the standard for the '23's.

*Edit* Has it switched to U-18's this year? That would be pretty dumb as they already have the Youth Cup. That was the whole idea of it.

Need to look that up.

*Double Edit* Huh. They have indeed extended it to an U-18's PL Cup alongside the 23's tournament this year. That's at least 4 18's competitions. Least it adds to more regular competitive games. Just this one get's drawn out with the groups which roll through December/ January.

Didn't realise today's L'pool 18's game was a cup game. Thought it was the league lol.

It certainly is Scouse, but this is the football final. Still tough as nails though ;)

We've decided to have a party. Two 52" screens, the one in the living room will show the United game and the one in the dining room closest to the fridge will show the GAA final.
Making two huge pots of lamb curry. It's BYOB :)
