I just wanna say Lindelöf was absolutely amazing against Italy in the WC playoff game, his timing in tackles/interceptions was amazing and he looked very very confident with and without the ball!

That's why I don't get why he is struggling so much in the PL when he can clearly do it at European level as illustrated before at his time in Benfica and internationally with Sweden.

Needs time to get up to speed.

Think it's psychological too. Probably much more comfortable/relaxed playing for Sweden or against European opposition. It's an understatement to say it's too early to give up on him.

The Telegraph are reporting that United will invoke one year extensions for Herrera, Mata, Blind and Young. Shaw extension already activated according to them too.

Martial tairing Germany a new one tonight! Fantasy assist. Lukaku has become Belgium all time goal scorer, scoring again tonight. Phil Jones will be fit for the weekend and Rojo has said he’s very close to a full return.

The U12s have qualified for the Christmas Truce Tournament in Belgium along with Brighton, City and Arsenal.

Indy Boonen got 3 assists for Belgium's u19.

Garner, Laird and Greenwood all started for England u17 in a 2-1 win over Germany. Really good break for the new crop of England 17 beating Portugal, Russia and Germany. With three United players playing important roles too!

Ryan Giggs has been helping Manchester United's Reserves side prepare for their Premier League International Cup games.

The Reds began their Group D campaign with a 2-1 victory over Swansea City and Giggs has been passing on his wealth of knowledge to Ricky Sbragia's youngsters in an attempt to steel them for the task ahead.

Marcos Rojo is back! See him in action against Athletic Club, live on #MUTV tonight from 18:30 BST: manutd.co/B1z

Good 45 mins for Rojo last night in Utds 2-1 in the International Premier Cup. Looked fit sharp, won all his ariel battles and interceptions. Passing was off at times, but looked good for the weekend. Hamilton scored. So did Wilson who now looks fit and sharp again 4 in 4 now for him. McTominey was good in the middle with his passing and direct running from deep. Gribbin came on second half after a long lay off and looked great. Ercolani continues to impress, despite struggling at u18s level. Very hot headed though! Mitchell was dogshit. Shocking defending for there goal and never offered anything going forward.

Uhh, can already see that transfer window is coming...

Talks coming up that Grizz not interested in United anymore, Barca is in the talks now.

United have included an academy player in every matchday squad since October 1937 and Mourinho is intent on extending that run.

"I don't want to be the one that breaks that and I think the next United manager - it doesn’t matter when he comes - should also try not to break it," Mourinho told The Mirror. "It is more difficult now than it was before, but I think it is good.

"I feel it like a way to keep a certain identity of the club. To keep that identity means, basically, we should bring a new player from the academy every season. You can bring someone to play 10 minutes, then the player disappears and then you can say, ‘Oh, 40 players have their debut with me.' But none of them are important.

"I think what is happening with Lingard and Rashford is now happening with Scott McTominay, because he is not going to leave the club any more. To follow a certain pathway is important. I am doing it with McTominay.

"Mr. Van Gaal had the start of Rashford, I am having it with Scott McTominay and, next year, there should be more."

Hadn't realised Utd play Newcastle.

Tha should be spicey. What with the two managers being bezzie mates and all.

Jose Mourinho tells #MUTV that Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo are all in contention to feature against Newcastle: (link: http://manutd.co/Bja) manutd.co/Bja

Mourinho on Pogba:"Clearly you can see there was a Manchester United this season before and after his injury. He has qualities that influence our approach in matches."

Mourinho on @Ibra_official: "He is an incredible personality. We were all saying in 2017 he will be back. But it is one thing to be back on 31 Dec, another is mid November. Even in getting fit he was same super professional."Bit more Jose on Ibra: "Can't expect him to play full 90 minutes or consecutive matches." Can he play with @RomeluLukaku9 "Easy."

Jones fit also. And Gardner on MUTV said there will be some good news for Utd fans in the embargoed part of the presser.
