The Manchester United Thread

Well considering most are reporting City don’t want to meet Arsenal fee or his wage demands of between 350-400k a week.

Think people are going over the top and finding reasons, but hey who can go against the power of twitter that has infused with transfer window power.

Cant see him wanting to go from Wenger to Jose and Arsenal are playing hard ball with city for not letting them get even stronger for cheap.
How was Sanchez under Pep in Barca?

Sanchez wants out of Arsenal more than anything. City is clearly hos first choice. But he's also clearly open to other moves away. It's hardly going to spark a bidding war because United also want to do the move on the cheap. And United can offer Arsenal a replacement in Miki. People forget all three parties, four if you include Miki, need to to come to a conclusion

Arsene Wenger on Sanchez to #MUFC reports: "Honestly, I can’t tell you much more at the moment about the situation. Nothing is concrete at the moment." #AFC

Wenger when asked if there is any truth In Mkhitaryan?: "You conclude that. It’s not that I don’t want to inform you, I don’t want to give you wrong information. Nothing is concrete." #AFC #MUFC

Wenger confirms Sanchez will not leave if #afc cannot sign a replacement. Situation remains the same as the summer in that regard. He wants a replacement first.

Hope the Villa reports for Tuanzebe are true. Would play a lot at a good level. And Bruce would give him a lot of mins. Plus will learn a lot playing with Terry.

Internet power.
As soon as an average Joe starts tapping on a keyboard, it gives him infinite wisdom and knowledge :)

This is correct. I just tapped on my keyboard and I learned that you suffer from erectile dysfunction.

Mourinho on Sanchez:"The only word I can say is he is a phenomenal player I like, apart from that Arsenal player and I feel I shouldn't say much more than this."

Mourinho: “What we believe is there are some players in the football world if you have the chance to sign them in January, March or July, you have to try, and that's it." #MUFC #MCFC #AFC #Sanchez

“Zlatan Ibrahimovic is injured, or is not totally happy with his condition,” Jose says. “The date for him to be back in training is around the end of January or the beginning of February, so let's hope his feelings are better and we have him as soon as possible.” #MUFC

Jose on Tuanzebe: "We are delaying decision until end of transfer window. If no fresh injuries and Bailly close to being back, good for Axel to go on loan."

Mourinho on Dubai, "Very good, he facilities were unbelievable, nice weather, three days of really good training, we developed things which we can't do when we have no time to train."

Lol that Gary Neville's Twitter feed is hilarious. He whines so much about City's spending, the lack self-awareness in the guy, when United have also spent enough to rebuild Old Trafford, destroy it and rebuild again.

Then again, perhaps I should not be expecting self-awarness from a bloke who thought that pressing some buttons on a touch screen in a scripted TV show makes him capable enough to go to foreign country without knowing the language and manage a top flight club.

The part where I agree with Neville is where he questions the money or glory nonsense from *******, as if Sanchez hasn't agreed a 250,000 pound a week deal in principle with city. And City were willing to pay 60m in the summer

U18s Vs Sunderland
Fojticek, Laird, Tanner, Dunne, O'Connor, Galbraith, Chong, Puigmal, Mellor, Levitt, Baars.
Subs: Bernard, Thompson, McGhee, Ramazani, Greenwood.

Gomes promoted to the u23s full time now. More u18s will be as more u23s go out on loan this window.

Hate to be that guy, but the difference is at United the money we spend, is our own money.

RE Sanchez, he's a world class player, age puts me off a bit tho.

We've been turning a profit for nearly 4 years now, debt free. lol.

He's only 29, you could easy still gets 4-5 years out of a winger/forward minimum.

Yeah the money thing is well old. And I'd take Sanchez in a freaking heartbeat

U18s: FT - Sunderland 1 #MUFC 2. Chong’s second goal of the game – a composed finish after a fine through-ball by substitute Ramazani – seals a deserved away win for McKenna’s youngsters. The home side had Howard sent off. Ramanzani and especially Greenwood, changed the game after coming on. What’s more impressive is that Greenwood played and scored for the u16s win earlier in the day. Chong MOTM! Incredible how he’s recovered and returned from a serious injury! Lairds passfor Chong second goal was world class!

Since returning after 11 months out injured Tahith Chong has started 5 games and made 1 sub appearance for the u18/19s & scored 4 goals and won 2 penalties and 4 assists
