Just seen that U23s got battered by a Dunfermline u23 athletic 11. Apparently the clubs not been impressed as the seasons gone on. And little talk of Carrick taking over next season. When we will be playing in the second tier of u23 football :(
 
Watched the game lads were fantastic!

Full Time United win comfortably with a 8-0 victory over Higashi Fukuoka FC with a brace each for @joshbohui and @_MasonGreenwood a goal from @DishonBernard and a hat trick from @NishanBurkart
United win the group and progress to the semi finals on Friday

Final score 8-0. United u19s have shown great character in the 3 games in the tournament coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 in the first game, winning the 2nd 1-0 after playing over 60 minutes with 10 men & needing a 6-0 win tonight to make the semi finals they win 8-0

United u16s won their 2nd game of the Mic Cup 13-0 against Stryx Sports from Egypt. Goals from Iqbal x4, McCann x2, Gundogan x2, Wellens x2, Iestyn Hughes, Alfie Hughes & Savage

Injury news
Romero is injured, and I think he will for a few weeks, I think in the end he was lucky because was a strong contusion and will take a little bit of time to recover, Ashley Young had a problem in the last part of the game against Italy but we think there is a chance for him to recover and Daley Blind come back from his treatment in Holland, start training with us in the last few days and is the only one not available, apart from Daley, after a couple of months out, we recovered all the other problems we had, including Phil Jones, Rojo played with Argentina so the picture improved a lot for us in that aspect. Yes Herrera is ready for 1 week.


Mourinho on Shaw
He was asked about the left back possibly starting tomorrow:

If he’s available Luke Shaw is always an option, Ashley Young was available to play against Brighton so I started with Luke Shaw, so that’s not a problem.

Mourinho dismisses Deschamps claims
There were reports he had spoken to the France boss this week, something Mourinho denies:

Not true, I think the last time I spoke with Didier Deschamps was probably when we played against each other many years ago.
 
United go out of the Dallas Cup after losing the penalty shootout 3-2 in a 2-2 draw over Arsenal in the semi finals. Ref was terrible sent a player off for the softest shoulder barge after going 2-0 up from goals from Ramanzani and Garner. Ref said he used his elbow....Then denied us a stone wall peno at 2-2 in the last couple of mins after Greenwood was clearly tripped in the box. Lads done well this tournament. With ***** reffing in every match against us!
