The Manchester United Thread

Good luck to #MUFC Under-23s in their must-win #PL2 clash v Sunderland later today.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the match: manutd.co/KAm

At Old Trafford
Kick off at 7pm MUTV

Full Time United win 4-0 with goals drop @TahithC @ZakDearnley @indinhio and @joeriley49 with a brilliant performance that means we don't get relegated tonight

This can go 2 ways:

- City still think they have a chance against L'pool and they bring out a weaker team and United scrap a good result
- City smashes the living **** out of the abomination that this United team is in order to save their faces.

a "weaker" City team is pretty much the first team anyways? :(

Great read on our Academy!

Spent a fascinating day @ManUtd Academy this week. Nicky **** and John Murtagh know where they are aiming. This little bit on Jose Mourinho. http://www.bbc.co.uk/

Sanchez again? If theres a team you dont want to keep giving the ball to its City, so start Sanchez. Well done Jose.

Greatest bench in prem history from City there? gotta be in the running...

Reading SAF book, passed the bald Beckham part and him loving fame. Wondering how would he feel about Pogba obsession with all he does and the hair stuff.

Why the f*** do we start Smalling? And what happened to Jones? Even though Smalling is tall, he is ****** useless.

I love how Smalling 'dives' while in the air and flings his legs out from underneath himself.

"Look what happened??? It's not my fault??"

I'll say it over and over... Useless English defenders need to **** off and play cricket or something?
Leave the hard stuff to the foreign players.

Smalling is the first player who needs to be sold in the summer. Shocking performance yet again, the only one playing with any heart is Herrera.

Also why is Sanchez playing in against a team who will punish us the most with the amount of times he just loses possession?

Some of our players are an embarrassment so far. Pogba and Sánchez included. Especially Pogba. Mourinho rightly so giving him an earful.

Smalling is a good bench option. Thats it. Jones is better, but unavailable most of the time. Both need replacing in some way. Dunno whats with Lindeloff, but he should be starting with Bailly to form some kind lf partnership if, IF Jose sees him as a first teamer. In any case, get some class CB who knows how to use his head.
Also, pair of new fullbacks should be a must as well. As much as I like TonyV, he forgot how to attack or cross. Plenty of work still left. One thing positive, Jose didnt go hiding in this game. Players are trying something. Its a nice change, even if it doesnt end too well.

Some might think I’m being stupid. But if this is all we are gonna get out of Pogba despite systems/styles/formations etc then I wouldn’t be that fussed to see him go. Top player potential wise. But far to inconsistent. The basic I want to see is work rate, effort some something to show that he gives a deck.

Not watching, as in airport atm waiting for my flight. But just over 30% possession with 0 shots whilst allowing them virtually double figures? Deserve to be 2-0 down on that alone.
